The thing here is that until now, most of the students are unaware of how much bravery she really has (not to mention that this the first time since the Bounty Hunters incident where she was in a situation where there's no strong fighter to help her). Hence, a lot of the students are now finally seeing Nodoka as what she has become following her Pactio in Kyoto: a brave girl whose worthy of being one of Negi's Ministra Magi.

However, the only thing missing before we can truly see Nodoka being capable of holding her own is either a physical weapon or a staff that she can use to cast magic. Given how she was able to use one of the Lifemaker keys, hopefully she'll be able to get a staff as a permenant weapon soon.

Life-Stealing Mark, personal artifact of “Shiori”, attendant of Fate Averruncus. Through a direct kiss, the user can reconstruct her own physical body to replicate the physical as well as mental/spiritual characteristics of the (human) target at the time of the ‘theft’.

The ‘external’ facade acts like a separate personality (self-hypnosis), while Shiori is still conscious and in control. According to Shiori, the disguise can wear off if the user’s own emotions are swayed (ie. if she herself ‘feels’).

Appears to be a bookmark when summoned. Note that Fate himself had been seen carrying something similar in the past.

12? Kid's not even chronologically (and likely not even physically) 10 yet. Remember that he told Asuna he was 10 at the beginning of the series due to some archaic Japanese age determining method that bases your age on the current year, not your birthdate, and determines you to be age 1 at the time of birth. He was actually only 8 1/2 (Word of God) at the beginning of the series (backed up by his year of birth according to the tankoubons), and had only gained about 6 months extra of physical age due to Eva's Resort by the time he left for Magic World (again, Word of God), making him physically about 9 1/2 at the time. He's only gained about a month extra in the two months or so they've been in Magic World (during the three days training before the fight with Rakan),so yeah, not even 10.
