The episode is as expected for the "Good End". For those who are a bit down on the end, keep in mind that in most Galge and Eroge, "Good End" also often means normal ends, since endings are usually categorize as bad, good, and true.
The flag is expected on the album scene, though I find it interesting that the content in the album is still not seen by Kyosuke. But either way, if they decide to make season 2 of this series, this ending can still fit nicely as long as they don't touch the Ria part. Now I 'm really interested to see how episodes 12.B-15 will be released. I know they'll be released on DVD/BE but will they do a steam? if so when? That was awesome, for those who read novel, that was the one scene I was hoping they'll animate. Its a nod back in volume 1 during the second IRL Meeting when Saori suggested they introduce themselves by talking about their most recent embarrassing moments. Kuroneko mentioned that it was when she was video-capturing herself dancing while wearing nekomimi and tail for Nico Nico Anime and was caught by her little sisters. Quote:
Other than the album, that is a pretty nice read on things.... If I didn't know better I'd say you've read the novel.... Either way the significance of that album is still a mystery in novel other. All that shown was that it seems to held the key to as to why Kirino and Kyosuke drifted apart in the first place.

Keep in mind that the original LN was told through Kyosuke's POV only. So there are a lot of self-reflection and inner dialogs in the books that were not shown in Anime has more or a 3rd person POV with Kyosuke's comments be kept minimum. Spoiler for Kyosuke's acceptance:

An interesting end to the series. The two main things I picked up from this episode is the photo album and Kuroneko stating that she will call Kyousuke something else soon.
The album probably has pictures of Kirino and Kyousuke together, although in the worst case scenario, it would be mainly just pictures of Kyousuke. If, as novel readers stated, that Kirino chose an alternative path from how the anime ended, wouldn't it be relatively easy for Kyousuke to just come in and a take a look at the album? Then again, he is not that type of guy to do this sort of thing. As for the other point, Kuroneko states that she will call him something else. It is really unfair that she says that now, and then the series ends. I am wrecking my brains out trying to figure what she might say, as an improvement from "nii-san", such "darling", "danna-sama", or even "otou-san". Either way, it sucks to leave it like that.

I actually think that was explained pretty straight forward. Kirino was pestering Kyosuke to buy it and use the "this is the only/last time" card. Don't know it you have younger sibling, but that's a pretty powerful weapon, especially in Eastern Asian culture. Quote:
if you want to be spoiled, head over the LN/manga thread. As for the album, Kyosuke still didn't see what was in it and Kirino was shown to not wanting to show him BTW, on of the setting was that Kirino's has lock so Kyosuke wouldn't be able to do that even if he would like that. But like you said, he was not the type to do those thing to begin with.

Review for the last episode:
Pretty much great, although I'm kinda surprised that the route ends just like that, no further development to the relationship (from what I've seen) I'm utterly puzzled with Kuroneko's making a nekomimi for Kirino. Is that supposed to be a farewell gift? Overall score :9.5/10

Kirino asked Kuroneko to make a set for her during Kyosuke's harem party.

Kirino was very nice and pleasant for most of this episode (!), which is certainly quite the change for her, but she had that one really over-the-top burst of condensed tsuntsun.
I have seen something like this once or twice before, though, involving a tsundere character, so its not entirely unprecedented. I think the general idea is that Kirino really is starting to grow out of her excessive tsuntsun tendencies, and is finally mellowing out quite a bit, but the tsuntsun relapse is exceptionally fearsome because it probably also reflects lingering doubts that she has about letting the tsuntsun mask fade. This episode does do a lot for her character, in that it also shows that she's a very shrewd planner and good at time management. Her overall plan for acquiring, and being well-rested for, that eroge game, was nicely done. Here we finally get a good sense of just why she is so good at time management (this obviously being something that you could assume about her character going just by all the activities that she juggles in her life). I have to say, though... this whole idea of family members being tsundere for each other strikes me as a bit odd. I can actually kind of get why siblings being openly lovey-dovey with one another could be cause for bashfulness, but for a parent and child to be like that is a bit strange. I mean, seriously, there is *nothing* wrong, or terribly out of the ordinary, about a father being openly adoring of a successful daughter. Kirino's dad has real issues. But... maybe this is a Japanese cultural thing, I don't know. There are some complaints I have for this episode, but they're mostly ones that apply to the series as a whole (such as its tendency to use characters that we barely even know for important roles - in this episode, that happens with Akagi, who I honestly can't even remember seeing on-screen before; did he show up briefly in Episode 6 AKA the Manami episode?). On the whole, this was a satisfying episode, and it's very good to see Kirino's character get fleshed out nicely, but some of the tsundere stuff really does seem weird to me. Not too weird to enjoy the episode, though, thankfully. I'll give it a 9/10. One thing I wanted to reply to... Quote:
Most, if not all, of what Kyousuke did in this episode, can be chalked up to that.

Give it 8/10 overall. It was enjoyable , fun & interesting even though Kirino's character was so harsh.
"Good end" , yes it looks like a good end for both of them. Now waiting for extra Ep13-15. Kuro-neko was adorable ^^ They didn't show beautiful Saori yet. The tsun father was hilarious Ouch, that was a K.O headbutt for Kyousuke :O Well , sad to see this show ending , so much development needed. |

As tempting as that may be, if there is a chance of another season, I will be patient and wait for it. There are still hundreds of other anime series I have yet to watch waiting to be watch, so it helps to fill the times.
Kirino was actually ok this episode, which made me feel like I was watching another anime. I felt like Kyousuke, very suspicious of everything. It was a nice change of pace.

Okay Just finished the episode and while I admit I thought Kirino's sudden change in attitude was sudden as well, it makes sense once you realize why she was acting so different.
Seeing Kyousuke going to a midnight release for an Ero-game was freaking hilarious and even though I was surprised to see him again, Kyousuke running into Akagi was priceless. The scene kind of made me want to go to the midnight release of Dead Space 2 when it comes out. But ugh whenever I see Kirino's closet of Otaku goodies I can't help but be a tad bit envious of all the stuff she has and how she's able to stack all her stuff so nicely. Overall It felt a tad bit lacking due to the lack of Kuroneko but overall it was a nice mellow "final" episode and I'm looking forward to the alternate episodes. And I'm especially looking forward to getting the PSP game. ^_^ That's why it's an original ending.....
