For the record, that's the first time someone confessed on screen to Hideyoshi. In the talkative summoned beast episode, Hideyoshi was noted to have been confessed to by guys at least 3 times a week, including middle schoolers. This episode is back to the slapstick laughter I am used to in Baka. It was a great episode, like most of the summons episodes. The drama episodes are great, but the humorous ones are what makes this series stand-out.

The first thing that actually came to my mind when I saw Minami's was the Whomps from Super Mario Bros. Of course it didn't take long for me to figure out what it actually represented.

I've noticed a lot of animes like to promote okamas as incredibly scary. I'm pretty used to okamas myself so I don't really find such characters scary or funny. Heck the one in this episode wasn't even that bad-looking compared to others I've seen, though I guess that's mostly on account of art style.

I'm disappointed Kubo's gonna work together with lez-girl. I actually like Kubo compared to her. But I s'pose it does make sense in the big picture.

God damn that Voyeur. How can he be such a lightweight around women yet be so badass when taking on dudes? I can't fully dislike him thanks to that.

I absolutely loved the all the previous episodes involving the summoned being, those little guys and their master always cracked me up. This episode made me smile no less and was pure fun to watch.

To be honest, when Minami was going to summon her being I was expecting it to be a pretty/handsome stalwart female colonial officer sort of her like regular one.
