hey i was thinking this i got my self free usb fridge i won it in comp beside the point i was wondering does anyone have one if so how long does it take to chill a drink??

To be honest I had completely forgot about these things (I also saw a usb powered cup warmer come to think of it - ideal for keeping coffee hot I assume).

Ya know I'd be kinda interested to see pix and here your impressions of it "in action" if you have the inclination to show us. (Whether or no someone else has one and gives you feedback.)

I've got a cup warmer(not even thinking about cooling drinks these days...)

But fridge? I doubt it really can cool much, more like keeping it cool.

Each USB2 port can supply 2.5 watts ( 500mA @ 5V )
Each USB3 port can supply 4.5 watts ( 900mA @ 5V )

I'm pretty sure most USB fridges have Y cables. So power drain is around ~5 watts
