I agree, Ill be really surprised if Kagari's "offical" gender will be revealed chap 69 which will just add to us speculating If it is, great! but again I see this being dragged out for a few chaps. Of course I hope Im wrong!

My thing...if he's been male since the beginning (or atleast 90% male) and says he's closer mentality to a guy, then why start something totally new...unless he really is attracted to Minato.

Btw at this point, anyone else think in the anime theyre gonna show all the winging of the major Sekirei and then totally skip to the brigade fight cuz Im still having a hard time theyre gonna be able to pull off everything inbtwn since in epi 5, Tsukiumi wasnt winged and neither has Shiina. Unless epi 12 ends with a cliffhanger but...really, they have alot to squeeze in the 7 remaining epis.

i bet you he stays as a half woman half man, knowing Ashika Sakura's history with yaoi and shotacon. she can get the best of both worlds if she keeps kagari as a WO/MAN. if he does become one or the other. i hope he stays a guy. i think that would be funny. plus kagari would have big enough boobs to stay in the competition of the harem if he turned into a girl

Well, there's plenty of time.. they used up 22+ chapters by ep 6, Tsukiumi fully winged in chapter 22.. and whatever leftover time left in ep 6 will be fit in with chapter 23's content.

ep 7, will have normal interaction .. ending with Uzume's being revealed as the secret dangerous sekirei, ep 8-9 will be their battle and 10-13 will be fit in up to bridge.. in the OP, Kazehana is included in the group at the end, so I believe we get her winging scene, then she transfer Shiigi(?) and Kuuno away before the end ..

Well, with recent artwork of Kagari showing her new feminine body, plus this whole sideplot about his-to-her transformation, it would be a waste (not to mention, kind of pointless) if he just reverted back after all the trouble the whole gang goes through.

The way I see it, he either fully transforms or stays where s/he is now... a shemale or futa. Not sure how this will go with the typical harem audience, but it's quite niche I think. I think it would be better if the author goes for the fujoshi readers (which I assume is a minority for something like a manga like Sekirei) or she plays it safe by continuing to pander to her main audience.

I wonder if all male sekirei go through this or it's just Kagari. Take Mutsu for example, did his ashikabi choose him to be male, or is the ashikabi homosexual to begin with? (although if that's the case, then winging female sekirei will be a question)

Only Kagari has the unstable gender, something about him being either an experiment or boched to begin with (I forget which, someone who remember please remind me). Mutsu is just a guy like Shiina. I dont think Mutsu's ashikabi's sexuality has anything to do with anything really since it appears most Sekirei are the gender opposite of their ashikabi but also are what the ashikabi themselves find attractive. If this were totally true Mutsu's ashikabi (whose name escapes me) would have all male Sekirei. So....I forgot my point Needless to say its easy to say Male Ashikabi = all female Sekirei and vica versa for Yukari and Shiina but whats-his-name is an exception to this having both male and female so Minato could have both as well. Although I do love moe!Kagari at the moment, but if he does stay female dont expect me to change pronouns anytime soon
