Basically it's a spin-off that each chapter is focused on one girl and stand alone from another. Mostly it's about their relationship with Kodaka.

The sixth chapter that will be released this month will probably a Maria-focused since she's the only one left who hasn't get her own chapter on Shoboon.

You know this one. It sticks to LN better than anime. The card game on the train, Kodaka was asked about his preference about breast, "umi daaa~!" practice, Yukimura put sunblock on Kodaka made Rika spoke gibberish and then went "EXCALIBUUUUUR", and of course Yozora's feet service to Sena

There's a flashback when Hayato informed Kodaka that they will be moved. And then Kodaka and Sora promised to say what they want to say the day after. And in the end when Kodaka cheered up Sena (dat Sena's smilewww), we got original scene where Yozora saw them from inside the house, shocked.

As for Shoboon #6

Spoiler for Maria-focused chapter:

Maria got angry on the church because of Yozora and Kobato ("Who is it again... Ley...sushi? Ah yes, sushi! Poop sushi!"), just like usual. She went hysterical again when she saw Kate drank cola for herself and she called Kate poop grandma so Kate punished her.

On the club room, Maria went for Kodaka to be spoiled by him. Yozora and Sena whom saw Kodaka happily stroking Maria's head called police and Pegasus to arrest and expelled him, respectively Rika, to made things fun (for herself), said to Maria that Kodaka will hate Maria if she said poop over and over like she usually did, so to make Kodaka likes her even more Rika said to Maria that she needs to learn to be a fine lady from Yozora, Sena, and Rika. As for Yozora and Sena they became motivated to teach Maria so Kodaka could see them as a fine lady themselves.

First lesson is from Yozora. She said for Maria to became a fine lady she needed to change her 'poop' line. Yozora asked her to changed it to 'riajuu' and so Maria called Yozora "Riajuu-Yozora", that made Yozora went........ to the other world XD

Sena: "I guess I'll be more kind to Yozora from now on"

The second lesson is from Sena (she almost went crazy like Yozora when Maria called her "Riajuu-Sena" too, lol). What Sena taught him was what she did to the boys from her class, that she said make them happily cried.

The last lesson which was from Rika, Rika taught Maria to cosplay as a cat girl, Marianyan. Kodaka tried so hard not to stroke her belly like what she asked, but Marianyan strike him with the killer line, "Onii-chan, daisukinyan yo". But it made Kodaka ran out from the club room, crying that it was not Maria he knew.

Later on the church Maria asked Kate why Kodaka didn't like her more even though she tried many things like what the girls said. Kate just drank her cola and didn't answer so it made Maria angry and said she'll figure it out herself. Kate was smiling, seeing Maria tried so hard to make someone to like her, as it was very rare for her. Maria then came to a conclusion that Kodaka will like both when she was her usual self who said "poop" all the time and when she became a lady after what happened on the club room, so she has made her decision. The next day when Kodaka came to the club room, Maria asked her, like a housewife, "Welcome back onii-chan. Would you like to eat potato chip, take a bath first, or.......... p-o-o-p♥?"

That was Maria's decision, she decided to become a poop lady. But to Yozora, Sena, and Rika surprise, Kodaka was really happy with her decision.

"That's it. It's not Maria if it's not poop"

Just read Plus chapter 7. It will please Kodaka x Sena fans X3

Spoiler for Plus #7 summary:

Neighbor Club is really disbanded by Pegasus. Kodaka said to Kate that he will talk to Pegasus once again to make him reconsider his decision, and Kate said she'll accompany him because it sounds it's going to be interesting.

Pegasus said didn't want to change his decision. Things get intense when Kodaka said he didn't consider Sena's feeling by disbanding the club, and Pegasus got angry saying he of all people shouldn't talk about Sena's feeling. After Kate's attempt to chill them, Pegasus said he'll reopen the club if Kodaka can gather 200 students's signatures by 10 days. Initially one only needs 40 signatures to create a club. Before leaving Pegasus's room, Kodaka said he'll get those signatures by the deadline so Pegasus should keep his promise.

On the outside Kodaka and Kate met Yozora whom overheard their conversation, she said that Kodaka is promising something reckless since he couldn't do it. But then Kodaka said that it could be done, "You'll help, won't you?". Yozora said yes, well... tsundere-ly. Pegasus knew Kodaka will probably be able to gather 200 signatures, so to protect Sena he has another way that is.....

Made Sena transfer out from St Chronica to study overboard in a week. Kodaka and Yozora is of course surprise to hear the sudden news. Kodaka then talked to Sena, asking about that, and about Neighbor Club, the club that was created by he and Sena together. Sena said that for her Neighbor Club is nothing, just something to play around, so it's only Kodaka whom decide to create it and make Sena a member by himself. Yozora heard the conversations but after Sena left she pretend to hear nothing and cheer Kodaka by telling it's time to get those 200 signatures. And of course the job is also applied for the 2 lolis.

"Sir, yes sir!"

Though the deadline was in 10 days, but Kodaka still think about the 6 days left before Sena moved out, and Yozora saw his worry from his face. Anyway with the effort from 4 of them, they had gathered 199 signatures by the end of the day 6 but despite of that Yozora recognized Kodaka still had his worry. Yozora then asked what did Kodaka think of her reason to help him, and Kodaka replied that of course it's for recreate the Neighbor Club. Yozora then said that she didn't care about Neighbor Club one bit, her one and only reason was because there's a friend in need. Yozora then said, for the present Kodaka, Neighbor Club wasn't needed anymore so there's no reason the recreate it. Yozora then mentioned that that day is the day Sena will moved out and Kodaka should meet her before she left, but Kodaka said that he didn't entitled to.

Yozora then remind him about 10 years ago where both of them regretted that they didn't meet before Kodaka moved out, and she said that they couldn't make up about that day but there's still time for Kodaka now to prevent what about to happen again. After that Kodaka is now determine to meet Sena the last time, and then he left to see her. Alone in the classroom, Yozora talked to Tomo-chan about her real feeling.

"Tomo-chan, you know? Actually...... Actually I want to be on Kodaka's side. But... From now on, I'll stand behind him. Looking at his back. Supporting him every time he needs. Because.... We are best friends"

Despite how big the airport is, Kodaka finally found Sena (well duh). Kodaka gave Pegasus the 199 signatures he gathered and Pegasus asked why he left one. Kodaka said because he already have the 200th person in mind. Kodaka then said to Sena, before she said to make a friend there are stages one has to do and these times both of them had done things to make a friend but they forgot the first stage.

"That is, right here and right now Sena. With me... Please say "Let's be together from now on"".
"What the hell is that, are you idiot? Why I have to say something like that?"
"I don't know. Whatever the reason is I don't care, it's just..... For me. I need you, Sena!"

"Me too, idiot"

Then as expected, Sena didn't get to move and Pegasus approved to recreate Neighbor Club, since he was moved with what just happen.

Is it just me or he looks like a character from GTO?

To celebrate the comeback of Sena and the Neighbor Club, Yozora went out to buy some canned juices, and before she teased that Sena (and Kodaka) has graduated to become "the damned riajuu". When Yozora left, Kodaka thought about Pegasus's overreaction and what he said.

"Kodaka-kun, please take care of my daughter. And it's fine to call me "father", you know"

Sena was angry because she thought Kodaka thinks it's a problem for Pegasus to say that for him. But Kodaka said it's okay because [he thinks] it's a misunderstanding. Sena pouted.

"Th-then, can you say this is also a misunderstanding?"

Kodaka, Kobato, and Maria was shocked (they were there since the beginning, and Maria wasn't shocked actually, she was excited).

Maria: "She kissed! She kissed him!!"
Sena: "Wai-- No we're not, that was only. Ah right, that was only to show gratitude between friends"
Kodaka: "Ah, so that's actually it"
Sena: "Why you look so relieved?!!"
Kodaka: "Eeeh?"
Kobato: "Aaa... Stay away from An-chan, you titty monster!"
Maria: "Ahahaha~ As expected from adults"
Yozora: *standing in the door, shocked* "F--Filthy! W-what are you doing taking advantage when I went out for a while. Y-you.... Damned riajuu!! GO EXPLODE!!!"

Meh, Plus flipped character's personalities - so you have Yozora who choose to be selfless, and Sena who is not proactive. Not exactly sure what type of audience it was created for though, story doesn't seem to flow that well, either.

I guess. There's a text on the last page that says next edition, released on June 19th, will be an extra chapter (bangai hen/番外編)

I am little afraid that even the light novel might end soon. I don't expect that the author extends the plot into a dramatic love story with changing pairs in the future or something like that. ^^

More plot, no there's hardly any plot when compared to the LN. There's just very little side stepping of the issues that have bogged down the LN...

The original Haganai was a slice-of-life anyway. But eeh... I've got mixed feelings about this.

Haganai+ is still on Jump SQ next edition, but it'll be an extra chapter. I don't know if the next next chapter's going to be the main chapter again or not though.
Rika and Yukimura haven't even appeared on Plus, though at least they have their artwork on the official Plus site





Just FYI, before there was an extra chapter for Plus, though I forgot when it was released. The extra chapter I think take place, plot-wise, after chapter 3 since Kobato was already join and Sena looks like haven't known Yozora is Sora yet.

The story is about Sena who suggested the club to do a band after played certain game. They agreed but Sena couldn't synchronize with others despite her good guitar skill, she was angry after Kodaka agreed to Yozora that she shouldn't be too selfish. To make it short, after jam session with Kodaka, Sena agreed to come back and perform together again and tape their performance. They've done well and Sena finally can understand that performing together in the band was fun. But when they checked that video they've posted on streaming site, the comments are all about Sena's breast since Yozora intentionally used the misleading title ^^;;

There is barely anything going on the VNs, unless you take the usual club activity as some sort of development. Hell, in this manga Yozora reveals herself to Kodaka by her own volition instead of chance.
