(L) World Destruction

Reading up on the series, and it sounds rather enjoyable so i'll give it a try. I'll be watching it though for Maaya Sakamoto alone.

he does,and i'm playing persona 4 right now so i'm having double "kuma" spam! XD
(there's also a char who end his phrases by kuma in the game named.....kuma.)

I'd say the anime is about a level higher than Night Wizard was. There's way too much exposition of the world for them to do, but at least the action is very good. And the seiyuu talent is unexpectedly very high caliber. Maybe one of the better lineups this season.

Well that was better then I had expected...Sounded pretty dense from the title, but the action and characters were all solid. Plus its got a eye patch wearing pedo bear so you know the show can't be that bad...

One thing I guess I missed...when they say world destruction do they mean like say along the lines of blowing the planet up or is it more like wiping the slate clean so to speak and starting anew? Either way should be interesting to see what her true motivation is for doing this...

You know I never thought of it that way. It could be totally possible that this destruct code ball thingie is a catalyst for the extinction of the animal-rulers. Because humans look really oppressed in this series, even though.. kyrie was very cute as a beast man (I say that with not a homo bone in my body... but the nekomimi was kinda cute...).. new theory maybe he is a reverse trap... I mean kyrie is a girl's name.. has been stated he is a boy? Anyways I think it will be hard to say what the orb will do, until we find out more about miss morte... She is really a great character, a pretty "bad ass", it gets no better.

But since there is a organized committee dedicated to stopping this one chick, I would say its possible that the orb could contain secrets or information about how the beastmen got where they world or something that could shake the foundation of what the world is based off of. I think if it was simply for "blow'in up da world" than the government would want the orb for themselves, so they can use it... or at least have control of it.

But one thing I'm sure of, is morte has no idea how to use the orb, or much info about it. It sounds more like she is figuring stuff out as she goes, as if someone more knowledgeable entrusted the orb to her, or she stole it, without realizing what it was.

First off, good OP. Something i dont have to skip every time i watch a new episode.

lol @ Morute all of a sudden rambling out of the blu about not getting involved with her and she turns around and he's knocked out.

smh @ those cats doing that stupid dance with that stupid song. I wanted to kill them myself.

And was that water mixed with that monster's saliva that went into Kirie's mouth. eewww nasty.

Toppi kicks the dude, dude goes threw the air twirling still shooting. Nice touch, gotta love mascots.

The number of times someone was held hostage to gain the advantage=3.


Overall: 8/10. Was a good start.

Why did no one tell me that there were going to be furries in this series! O.O

But this was an interesting start. The theme was entirely to my liking (as it gives off some serious Tales vibe, not to mention the great character designs...Morte looks "...").

It will be interesting to see how this new type of hero brings about the destruction of the world and if it is even able to have a proper ending. I've just found out that it is based on a game not yet released so I wonder what potential spoilers there would be (for the game) or if the anime is going to be an original.

Fresh start, great characters.

Another great episode, with an introduction to the last three main characters(?).
Najya, who prefers games using the mind instead of physical violence, and a fox man(?)
Ria? Ri-a? There's a dot separating "Ri" and "a"... Re-ah? Whatever. Dragon girl then. Snaps waaaay to easily. But that's nice too.
Agan... doesn't get much appearance. Unlike the above two, he doesn't have an allegiance. From the OP, he knows the dead guy in Morte's past?

Just a traveling episode, I guess. Toppi and Kirie have decided to stay with her, and they've traveled. Met with a few people. There was also a beast loli, but her only role in the story was to steal the destruct code and turn a gambling game into a fight. I guess the episodic characters will appear in order they show up in the OP?

The guy in Morte's past... looked remarkably like Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia) to me...

Interesting story and characters so far, and I'm getting used to (and liking) the OP, so definitely looking forward to more episodes!

Captured all of a sudden... That episodic character's a female, right...

The CG from the game trailers don't look appealing to me, but considering the release date, I might buy it as well... Good thing it is on a DS.

I wonder why this series is getting so attention, I mean it has a ds game (promotional video can be seen here ) to be released with a top notch production staff and the anime's story is very interesting, the anime its self was not shabbily made, but why? What makes so this series gets so much attention? Why put so much money into something new?

First episode was amusing didnt really impress me too much interesting premise though. Instead of saving the world trying to destroy it that alone is enough for me to watch since everyday someone is forced to make me think about destroying the world. Stick with it for a bit could get better for me once the story starts moving. Its just that nothing stood out for me not the animation, the music, the voices nothing.

Not as batshit as the first episode but still equally as enjoyable.

The RPG aspect of this series is just uncanny (I still can't get the image of Tales out of my head ).

Two new characters introduced and I am already liking their style. So it seems like some "otherkin" people can hide their beast side like what Lia did there. Not to mention her hot, psycho personality...but could that be love at first sight?

The the other guy, Naja seems like the sly fox type character who uses brain power rather than physical.

And so now the group is pretty much set, onwards with the adventure I'd say!
