So of course we know it's Kafuka, but much like a lot of other things in SZS, it's a gag. In Ep.8 (and in the manga) the link is made when the title '変身‘ shows up - gee that's familiar -

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I've been having a go at subbing the last couple of episodes and was hoping someone could give me some advice on proof checking/encoding/distribution etc... since I have no prior experience with fansubs. I've put some of the episodes I finished so far on veoh, I won't link it in case it's not ok, but if anyone could take a look and give me some help I'd be grateful.

I'm referring to the three guys the show before Jun, they were also in the Marionette ending

It was masterful how the soft gentle music abruptly stops as the view zooms into Kafuka's lips. I got the tingles down my spine when that happened

Episode 9 was a bit too much WT*, especially Zetsubou fight. I also didn't laugh nor smile during Maria's segment but that's because I don't like the character.

They're *sort of* introduced in ep. 10. According to wikipedia the glasses guy is

Wataru Manseibashi

An otaku. His name comes from "Manseibashi o wataru" (万世橋をる, "to cross over Mansei Bridge"); Mansei Bridge is a bridge that connects Chiyoda and Akihabara. He is not in Nozomu's class, but from the neighboring Class 2-Ho.

The other guy is Haga Shoten. I'm not really sure though if I can trust wikipedia because it says that Wataru is in a different class from Nozomu's students but you can clearly see him and Haga seated in his class in ep. 12.

Maria doing a Ghost in the Shell reference was brilliant.
The bokeh reference while Maria was going around being a Tsukkomi made me laugh, as I'm always reading about bokeh on photography sites.

The Zetsubo Fight segments were just bizarre. Especially the one with the monolith.

My copy of the soundtrack arrived today, I was listening to it at work. Listening to Kafuka's Traumerei on headphones was even more creepy than I remembered it.
