I read somewhere that a Capcom or Namco developer has said that Namco's 3D fighter Tekken x Street Fighter has a long way to go and that "they haven't really started it yet". I hope they don't can it. That'd be a shame.

As I know Harada's team is re-working the 3D model of Ryu.
Dunno but best guess is that their working on other characters as well in secret. Probably Chunli as seen in Harada's twitter Ryu and Chunli concept artwork.

Man after the DLC lock content we're off to the next game TxSF.....

Harada already mentioned next gen as well as skipping an arcade release, don't expect it anytime soon... next xbox and ps haven't even been announced yet... darkstalkers 4 will easily beat it to the market...

I find it laughable how capcom try to pretend on their trailers that they care a lot about story... specially when it is the aspect from their fighting games they don't give a f@&% about.

Also, side note, boy's t-shirt reads "Darkstalkers are not dead"

Probably Ono is working on DarkStalkers that's why he dropped the SF franchise? Maybe....

That is true that story isn't exactly the strongest thng Capcom has going for them with the Street Fighter franchise. That's why I just ignore the plot and only focus on the characters I like, though most stay stagnant(RYU!) and the ones that do grow(Sakura) tend to follow their original reason for entering the first time. At least they changed her admiration to love but even than nothing will come of it since that would mean they would have to push the character story arc past the tried and true base story they entered with.

The comics at least try to take themselves seriously, though the Legend of Sakura was pretty tame and fun(How she interpets some of Ryu's teaching is hilarious) compared to the Legend of Chun-Li.
