Lelouch killed Euphemia, Suzaku killed Nunnally. :\

Personal tragedy always adds resonance to a hero's mission. The Joker said it, so it must be true.

i am in total shock over this episode... at first i thought maybe kallen would die, but then that explotion happend (gosh i cried) and IF Nunnally is actually dead, then I think this series might just end with Lelouch's death too (and Rolos). Which means kallen would like live on as "the one who'll never forget it all~~"

but no, i can't even begin to imagine that nunnally would actually be dead...! i mean, it's only episode 18! what's going to happen until the last episode now? lelouch doesn't have a reason to fight! well maybe to kill suzaku, but i think he's pretty suicidal by now, so that will be easy. (orange-kun doesn't have to un-geass him, shirley died even though she also got the live-geass, so if lelouch just stabs him from behind or something...)

damn, do i have to wait a week for the next episode? T_T;

i'm beginning to hate suzaku more and more, even though it's not his fault.... >_<

Regardless, Lelouch will feel twice betrayed by Suzaku. He already thinks Suzaku broke his promise to come alone, and now he'll think he broke his promise to protect Nunnally.

I don't see the two of them ever reconciling, not after this.

The second one you cannot list it as Lulu's fault honestly, it was more of Nina's fault.
But anyway, what counts is that a lot shit of people got annihilated. :/

I'm disappointed that they made Suzaku use Freya because of the Live Geass, I was hoping he would choose to use it.

Nah, Anya will be fine. She knocked Lelouch pretty far back, so she should be safe.

He's also part of the cause here indeed (tragic that his desire to save his best friend from death would result in this) - though that won't matter; the thing si that they still both killed someone they cared for about a great deal under circumstances they had no control over.

Can you imagine the backlash of supreme hate that would have arisen? I thought he would too from how the episode descriptions went, but it's better he got forced.

That's all they showed of her. Nothing after that. I don't think she is dead. Rather important character in the plot since there is a connection between her and Lelouch.

dunno how important she is as such for now, but I doubt that they'll kill her without having revealed what her connection to Lelouch is at least...

with Nunnally's death I don't think Suzaku will go all "Its Lelouch faulth, I should hate him for it even more" because he was the one that pulled the trigger, he will feel responsible no matter what. Also Lelouch had no idea that somethign like this would happen when he geassed Suzaku to live, heck he didn't even know about Freya, he probably doesn't know that it was fired because of Suzaku's live geass either unless he digs further into it. And as for Euphie, that was his faulth clearly but it happened on accident =< though it is still his faulth for ignoring geass

I still don't think Nunnally/sayako crew bite the dust yet, she was on a plane a comfortable long amount of time before Suzaku fired the freya. Also freya ver 1.0 is not a spontaneous explosion, it took several minutes to kick off the chain reaction = more time to fly away.

Assume plane speed - 600km/hrs (Boeing 777 cruise speed is appox 1000km/hrs at 35,000 ft, but this is low attitude) so in 5 minutes = 50km

or Apache/Mi-28 has speed about 300km/hrs --> 5 minutes = 25km...that is plenty of distance from the ground zero to survive
