@Kazu - That's a really interesting Q&A. The bits about Haru are particularly interesting, since the questions mirror how many of us felt about the last few episodes.
Good call putting that under spoiler tags, by the way.

well the changes were done a bit better than the last one, since this one pretty much retained most of the core elements and sort of did a better expansion on the girl's arc as the manga one was pretty short.
still though, some minor complaints here as they cut off some of the more humanizing aspects for the assassins, or rather sides of them that enhance more knowledge. if you want to know about them(since the show may end up not talking about it): Spoiler for manga difference:
in general, im starting to get feel like they're making it too episodic, like they're only giving each girl the entire episode in order to be relevant, cutting up other details for the other assassins that gives insight of their character. I only hope its for these two girls that have this much focus, as the ones later, well, lets say there are a lot of stuff that will be cut off if they really wanna expound on just one character per episode for their attempt. oh and they cut off the part where the teacher is starting to wonder what's the deal with those flowers, as well as the explanation for why that particular flower was placed. there's also the overall change in motivation/background for kouko, though it doesnt really matter or alter the plot much, you guys might be interested in knowing: Spoiler:

On the other hand, is there an explanation of why Nio Hashiri (or some moderator) place a different kind of flower when an assassin was banished? |

(though I dont know if in the novels/future that he does know something) well yeah, the spider lily here for instance in flower language means "im looking forward to meeting you again". im surprised that they couldnt have put this up.

Hope we get someone (besides Tokaku, I mean) interfering to prevent the other person from winning the prize or something. Would be a wasted opportunity if they never have the assassins going against each other.
Say, is Nio actually competing? So far she's in an overseeing role, and while she had a notie in the OP, she was the only one not wearing a tight leather outfit. Is this gonna be like one of those times when the people running the competition have their own contestant? |

Watching Black Class taking mid-terms is just weird.
For a second there it makes you forget it's a class full of assassins. Haru is so naive... Being the only normal girl there, she just seems kinda weird. Tokaku managed to save her ass a couple of times too. That advance notice thing is unusual, but sort of noble. At least she knows when she's being targeted. Kaminaga was doing her best to complete the mission. With Tokaku as Haru's watch dog that was impossible. Another great episode!

They left out a pretty important detail. Well, who cares about school life, huh?
Rant: Spoiler:
Other than that? Rather well played. I liked it. Not as much as the third episode because no such glorious moment with Nio but when she appears she steals my attention. Yay. |

04 was alrite.
With the bomb's girls flashback, I wasn't sure if it was really her mistake, or if her mentor set the bomb off herself to kill herself to get out of the business. Attempt wasn't as exciting as the 1st one, since for a bomb person, she couldn't do anything else afterwards. bad with names, but the one the other one that said she's not targeting Haru, she might still target her if something pops up. But I wonder if she's a detective or something.

This episode was pretty weak and if they keep this 1 assassin an ep routine I won't enjoy this anime as much. There's no point in having all these characters to only have them "fleshed" out and dead by the episode's end. Would've been easier/better to just have say 5 assassins, allowing more time for the viewer to actually feel anything for the characters. |

Episode 4 was a little too straightforward for my liking.
Haru takes ridiculous risks while Tokaku ineffectually complains about it. The two of them get into a precarious situation by falling into a foreseeable trap set by the assassin of the week. Brief fight between Tokaku and said assassin. Assassin loses. The end. I hope this formula isn't the one they'll be going with for most of the show, because it's already starting to make the protagonists seem dumb and the assassins seem like the perfect people to join Cobra. Or if they are going to stick with this formula, at least spice it up with some actual yuri. Right now Tokaku might as well just be a hired bodyguard for a rich girl. I'm feeling almost no chemistry at all between her and Haru.
