There was absolutely nothing homophobic in what I said. I merely said I don't read gender benders (usually) because I prefer to read about straight couples, as I am a straight man. It's like people who don't play racing games because they just have no interest in them. Doesn't mean they hate racing.

I kinda of understand because the theme of a pretty looking girl which can be a girl/boy perhaps is entertaining and interesting to others. There is nothing particular wrong with that mind set although at the end of the day one must realize this is a gender bender with Aikawa being a boy and all romantic development would be boy x boy in this series. Unless somehow the author is trolling us like another manga xD

Even with that said I think this series is quite entertaining, one thing I always like about gender bender is romance that transcend gender which seems more pure and real than most heterosexual couples.

It would be nice to get a some chapters of kaichuu! out ^^, I'm mostly just tempted to read it raw perhaps.

There's Kaichu! on it's way, and we've reorganized some tasks so that hopefully it comes out on a more regular basis, sorry it's been so slow.

Thanks for the reply... although I wasn't trying to peer pressure anything on release if anyone felt that way but Kaichu! is probably one of my favourite slice of life gender bender. Then again I'm more biased towards sports manga in some way seeing children growing up aspiring to compete and become nationals champions has more substance and depth than regular high school drama/comedy to me

Read through all of the chapters today. In the beginning I tried to hold the mindset of, "Aikawa's a guy! Aikawa's a guy!", but I'm surprised how quickly it turned into, "Aikawa's a Hideyoshi. Aikawa's a Hideyoshi." I don't even know how I feel about that anymore. I'm just enjoying the manga.

I believe the translator said the mangaka didn't finish in time, possibly due to 3/11 creating a shortage on supplies.

Yeah, there wasn't any note in the magazine, but I would assume that the massive earthquake and tsunami had something to do with it. Dozens of magazines canceled for the month, it's probably better to just be happy that something got released even if some of the pages weren't polished.

Chapter 26 is certainly nice. It's good to see some of the old Maki-Aikawa interaction again.

The past chapters haven't been very interesting. I personally don't care about any other characters.

Agreed. I feel like this chapter was the mangaka's way of saying that things are returning to normal.

They give 'Salam' to each other when they meet and didn't fight among them self anymore, although didn't pray 5 times a day.
