Episode does good job from diverging attention from the plot. No wonder why wavehawk is so possesive of Eri. Beach episode with Nozomi, Eri, Hanayo who "packs a punch" herself ca be quite damaging to health. Not to mention all those jelous grimmaces from Nico.

Great change of pace episode but still but few things that irked me. Like previously menioned random shop selling goods with their photos without girl's knowledge or permission. I would freaked out. Is it even common in Japan? Someone with idol industry knowledge please verify. Besides photos looked like there were posed. I thought the girls wore outfits only once during open-doors festival. Again those ninja professionals doing their job in the shadow without leaving a trace. They shot to position 50 in few monthes and no management approached them? They make it look too easy.

And I hope they mention that their perfomace was well recieved. And it did postponed the closing of the school.

P.S: if this series will have a guy who says at least a word I call him:"Combo breaker".

I don't know anything about the idol industry but I doubt that's allowed. These guys are making money off of their image without even their permission (the least they could do is ask). I was shocked the girls reacted so well. I would have been pissed.

I guess in this case it doesn't really matter for the girls if someone is making money off their image, they are school idols to just save the school anyway not to get rich and what they need now is popularity and not money, so I guess for them those goods for are basically a signal that they are doing a good job.

In real life, I'm quite certain you need the artist's consent before creating merchandise/paraphernalia of them and selling it on the market.

I doubt in Japan people are so easygoing with such thing. My image on some cups, t-shirt is worrysome just from privacy perspektiv. Of course they are happy over any attention and promotion. But someone is getting credit for my work - no freaking way! LL stretching the reality in some cases.

That is why I always have a feeling that some invisible agency working behind the shadows to help girls. Making videos, costumes, merchandising and so on.

Well this show is not meant to be taken seriously as Beck and they are school idol group and not nation one, so I see nothing surprising that the goods were sold out with their faces without them knowing.

Unrealistic but for this kind of show it works.

If it was something like Beck, I would be a bit unhappy too =/

I see those as cheap bootleg merchandise that you can see anywhere in Asia. The quality and production value won't be as good as officially sanctioned items obviously. It's a good sign of their popularity and does wonderful world to spread the words especially with slogan like "hot upcoming group" and so on. Don't forget that their goal is to save the school by being popular so anything counts. If they are like im@s then I could see them being angry for copyright infringement, but now this is a massive plus for them

Also to ones that said they wouldn't want to see their photo on some mugs, well this is why you are not an idol.

No. What they were talking about his how they will eventually all split up once they graduated. Of course Honoka wants none of that and explicitly said that she wants to keep her harem together forever and ever.
