Hey dudes ill need some help with these, i just cant find wheres the head and wheres the tail of this anime, then in some strange way i got it mixed up with gundam series so if u could explain how many episodes does it have or seasons or anything...

Any help is highly appriciated

Neon Genesis has 26 episodes that start with episode 1 Angels Attack and ends with episode 26 Take Care of Yourself.

Plus the two "ending" movies that immediately followed the series, then the new batch of "retake" movies being released now.

to watch it:
watch the TV series, (watch Death&Rebirth, ) watch The End of Evangelion
Death&Rebirth is not really required to be watched in front of EoE, it flashes back the entire series in an awesome way I must add and shows the first part of EoE. This is prob why I'd watch it lastly or skip the part where EoE begins so you don't have to switch or skip in EoE

Eva movies are a complete retell of the series in better quality and with some plot changes that might in the end create a completely different ending. Though I wonder if any new viewers can keep up with the mass of input you are confronted with so to spare any likely headaches or WTF moments just watch it after the TV and EoE. It is also more fun to see the plot twists this way. I must add that they are awesome as well
