And even if we disregard that, think about it; switching that GN Tau Drive to his OverFlag is going to involve decommissioning one GN-X. That particular decommissioned GN-X should come with at least one full set of beam rifles/sabers. As long as it's there, it's possible for Billy to reverse-engineer them such that the GN-Flag can use those. Anyway, watched the Shinsen subs of Episode 23. Whatever flaws might possibly be dug up and nitpicked upon this episode, it still remains that the Dynames-Zwei fight is one of the best all season, and Lockon's passing is one of the most powerful scenes in recent Gundam. Here's hoping that Sunrise doesn't waste such a powerful scene like they did with GSD. 9/10. |

Well Setsuna seems to be like 16 or something. Marina gives off the 20ish yr old vibe to me. (Though their official age had been already brought up though I can't really remember it.)
So umm...where the hell is Neena now? what is she up to? I thought she'd end up being w/ Setsunas care after saving her but seems she just ran off after the fight between Ali and Setsuna. |

Um, yeah. They did. She says "I am merely a believer in the ideals of Aeolia Scehenberg. Nothing more, nothing less." That was back when she met the Thrones in their base, IIRC. It's been established that she's a firm believer in CB, to the point of being an ideologue.

This episode was one of the best all season( if not the best). Even with the absences of Graham and Saji, this episode is an instant 10 (unless they make Lockon somehow survive).
Even though I looked at the spoilers before watching the episode, it wasn't until Haro kept repeating Lockon's name that it fully hit me. Ali is not dead. Its way too early to kill off a guy whom pretty much is killing off all the main characters. If he lived, then you could only imagine the hate this guy would get. Its just too good of a bad thing to pass up. Can't wait to see how Nena comes back into the picture. I have a feeling that Marina is gonna play a much larger role S2. From the preview, Tierra is pissed at Setsuna for not looking harder to find Lockon or to reach Lockon before his apparent death. |

Ya I'm sure he'll just walk up in the transport ship and take one himself. Assuming he's in any condition to even fight.
Unless I missed something but there aren't any spare GN-X's. |

Lol points:
- becoming red officially makes you three times faster! I should paint all my laptops / processors red xD - another "homage" not mentioned yet? when Darryl charged onto Lockon I cant help but think of Gurren Lagann's ep 26 Lagann Impact ^^; only that this time it's not as succesful. Hmmm I already gave the ep a 10 but lets "nitpick" it a bit anyway ^^; see if someone can clarify point #3 for me - At first I got a huge wtf when virtue was able to hold off the GNX beams with his GN particles... and honestly that brought the episode down alot at first, then I thought "maybe he adjusted the output as to match the GNX's output, so that one wasnt too bad, although a bit of consistency / explanation would've been nice X_X - Kyrios' Trans-am is pretty much useless without any extra weapon? (cant kill anything). I hope they'll do something abt this in the next few eps. I'm thinking zeta gundam ending here.... xD - So is not retreating when they see GN Armor a plothole? The situation in this ep is pretty much reverse of the past ep but: This ep: (20-22 GNX vs two gundam displaying new abilities + one gundam with a new weapon) > no order to retreat until Lockon royally owned them last ep: (18 GNX vs two gundam down, two functional gundam that isnt seem to be doing much except setsuna + one new weapon) > ZOMGWEREGONNADIERETREAT D: is it solely just because the three powers have succesfully duplicated the GN drives so the machines are much much more dispensable now? =/ |

I finally just got the chance to watch and finish this episode
Lockon is one of the most amazing characters, especially since how this episode was done. This episode was done very beautifully. its rare for me to give a perfect to an episode but this had to be one of the best Gundam episodes i've seen. |

In subsequent battles, in Trek you can modulate the shield frequencies - therefore, all Tiera has to do is modulate/change his particle compression rate. Since he is not connected to Veda, the GN-X's won't know his particle compression rate any more. For the retreat, in the first instance, there was an element of surprise in the arrival of the GN Arms and the fact that they had not committed all their forces. They could live to fight another day and analyze the new data. The latest battle, the UN committed almost all it's forces into the effort. There was really no turning back, it was their best opportunity - 26 GN-X's + 1 Throne vs what remained of CB. The retreat was more triggered by GN Arms Dynames breaking through the battle line to attack the base of operations - the 3 Virginia class ships. The GN-X's had to retreat to protect their ships. If Dynames had not broken through the lines: remember the tide had turned back to the UN in the battle with Kyrios and Virtue as Trans-Am mode had run out; and they were vulnerable as they 'recharged' their particles. The UN forces gambled in their strategy and lost big time - more than 50% of their forces were decimated. |

He became more capricious and less social afterwards. Hmm. Perhaps Aolia will be his own Evil Twin. |
