Oh. My. God.
Finally reached the battle against the Navarle Knights...and I am just speechless. Absolutely floored at how the battle went. So many emotions and thoughts still whirling around in my head at the moment. Spoiler for Navarle Knights Battle; THE most overwhelming battle I have read here so far and the longest post yet to show up on this thread:
Time to read more.

Even better, I was listening to this (during the entirety of the battle) and then this (during Tigre's rescue attempt).
I'd suggest that doing that too, but I don't know if summaries have the same brevity as the words themselves. Spoiler for Post-battle:

Roland's character is so much more than just plot-contrived badass enemy, and I like him for it. You can really see his dedication in the context of his actions and decisions. He might be unbelievably powerful, but more importantly he's still very much a person just like Tigre and the rest, all with their motives, circumstances, goals and decisions to make.

BTW, did they mention the number or army he led? Anyway i'm curious about Valentine, as she's been kept in the dark all this time. |

I'll probably grieve myself once I reach that part. But considering the political turmoil and situation the entire country is in, I am not too surprised.

BTW, is it true that viralts are sentient weapons and capable of choosing its own master? Any chance it would go berserk and rebel against its own master? |

Yeah, that's a brilliant idea right there. Let's make the man who can use only the bow a sword, a weapon he handles worse than a new trainee with zero combat experience. Even better, a big, huge great sword at that, and watch him die in 2 seconds flat while he tries to wield it during a war. It's cool after all.
...Chuunis. This series is seinen for a reason. Quote:

Just finished Volume 3. What a way to end the Volume. Seriously, much love to Kawaguchi Tsukasa.
He definitely knows how to stab me in the guts and then twist them around so badly. Spoiler for Rematch of the Bow and the Sword aka I hope you've got some drinks and a snack or two as well as a comfortable chair:
On to Volume 4 with so much gusto I think I'm going to explode with joy and spew rainbow mints out of my eyes. That or sleep, since it's 3:35 am and instead of progressing to the next Volume which I could have done two hours ago, I ended up typing this out instead. Any mistakes, whatever.
