No, Rolo deserves a terrible death. I think Lelouch should use his geass on Rolo and tell him to cut off a part of his body bit by bit till he bleeds to death. Is that a little extreme?

More like very extreme.

Sounds like something out of Saw.

But I've never seen that movie, soo..

I don't think he deserves a horrible death. I don't think anyone in this show deserves a horrible death, including Nina.
I think he needs a good death. Like I said before, he needs to go out swinging, and knife a few people while he is at it.
I don't know if he deserves it though. Depends on what he does in Turn 19.

That's my point as well, more then putting anyone at fault its about witnessing the tragedy of the moment, we could go about blaming everyone and anyone for how things turned out but in the end we come with no definitive answer in that respect, and in this case I believe more then hate we are supposed to feel pity above all else for what transpires.

Agreed. Honestly I don't really hate Rolo so much for killing Shirley as I hate the fact that he killed Shirley. Really, I think a lot of people in this show are just victims of circumstance. That isn't to say that some people haven't suffered due to their own actions (Lelouch, Suzaku, Nina, etc.) but really, it's just the whole Geass world, the Britannian Empire, and the grand scheme of things that have caused so much turmoil. And, of course, that all leads up to Charles, if that even is where this whole fiasco truly originated. But I'm sure Lelouch will fix that all up by the end of the series

Lelouch needs to fix himself before he starts fixing the world...

With Nunnally apparently gone, i think it'll be impossible to fix him now.

Well, that may force him to change... Of course, I have said that so many other parts in this series and it has yet to happen... <.<'

With Lelouch and Suzaku both having gone batshit insane (see the extended preview for Turn 19 for solid proof in regards to the latter), hope of 'fixing' them has almost gone out the window.

Well, this is also why I'm banking so much, why I've always banked so much on Rolo in this respect, that while Lelouch is going insane obviously with grief, out of no where Rolo, the one people counted as the least likeliest to do so, pulls him out of it through his next actions. It's why I'm optimistic about how people could say later on that Rolo managed to redeem himself by starting Lelouch's redemption as well, and that carries on into everyone later in the story, and how I say or at least hope that Rolo's worth is carried on through saving Lelouch.

Then its time for swimming lessons for him if he can't be fixed.

Is there a reason why you want to see Kallen bite the dust so badly?

I would think that some people don't like Kallen's arrogance,
I myself personally was cheering for Suzaku when he was fighting Kallen in ep 18.
But that doesn't mean I hate Kallen, I just don't like something about her, I just can't put my finger on it.

But hands off Jeremiah, he brings the O in Orange when it comes to who is the most badass fruit in the cake.

Heh, really addressing True Warrior there...but, still. I do agree with you on the arrogance part...she did trip my nerves a bit when she audaciously declared, "I'm the ace of the Black Knights!", and:

Xing-ke: This battle has ended.

Kallen: Right...in the form of your defeat!

It can put off some, yes...

By that logic Rivalz would be the best KMF pilot. He has none at all so it'll not hinder him.

That'd be somewhat awesome.

But overconfidence does...plague Kallen, per se.

He would be in fact the best one ever since no one takes notice of his presence, an easy win for him

i don't know why we're discussing kallen in rolo thread but she has something behind her confidence unlike tamaki who gets blown up before finishing his sentence
and isn't it absolutely right that she's the ace of the BK
i don't know how far can one go on the battlefield not having confidence
