Obviously Misaki loses this fight, Aichi and "Caesar's" fight is a bt too hyped for it not to go ahead. One of the strange parts of this tournament structure.

I was expecting Misaki to rage at Yuri in episode 55. I mean come on...Yuri wins entirely based on luck against someone who's more skilled, then goes to give her a lecture and a handshake? Holy shit. It would be okay if Yuri was an esper like Ren, but just drawing triggers whenever you need them is so wrong. Maybe she uses some "shuffling techniques" ? XD

I agree. It's a game of chance, I can accept that sometimes, luck overcomes skill. But thinking cards come to you because you try harder and being rewarded for that attitude? Lecturing others on it? Ridiculous.

Which is why I've come up with an alternate explanation: Yuri marks her cards. She knew exactly what she was going to get because she cheated. Everything else was just her playing mind games.

Honestly the real life version kind of beats the fantasy. But hey it's a cardgame, blame the frikin' plot, lol. The signature trait of all card games is that it's random, and every game you play you are fighting both your opponents moves and the randomness so every game is challenge and every game is unique. Unfortunately, the anime can't really go on randomness alone, or at least nobody has had the guts to try the forumla out where it's not just about winning every match in a pretty predictable fashion.

Here's a little game I found while searching for the opening some time ago, it was pretty entertaining...

Speaking of which,

Anyone know if there's a full song for this?

It's kind of been growing on me.

So far, the battles were predictable from when they decided the orders of the fights. Kamui or Misaki had to lose for Aichi to fight the last battle. It was because of the plot.

Majesty Lord Blaster required to sacrifice other units. It doesn't suit Achi's style. I don't think he will use it.

I think Aichi will used a different type of Psyqualia. Instead of demeaning and torturing his appointment, it might be some sort of inspiration and comradery.

Whatever it is pretty sure he will use both shadow and royal paladins. If not a complete deck, most likely at least some shadow paladin cards to mess with psycholia. Just like Alfred Early messed with Aichi's psycholia.

hmm Kai is going to fight Ren next episode. I'm not too sure who will win. It's a 50/50 chance imo. If Kai wins then the tournament when Aichi vs Ren will be not as entertaining. If Kai loses I'm sure Aichi will face Ren and somehow win to bring Ren back. Aichi might use shadow Pally deck against Ren like how Kai used royal pally against Aichi, LOL.
