Maybe the grandmother (wait, was she a great-grandmother? I forget... or did they even say so? Considering she's turning 90, I guess that'd make more sense) is just really old-fashioned? You know, people get stubborn about their ideas when they get older. Even if she hears "Oba-san, the times are changing," every summer, she'll probably still nag about where her (great?)-great-grandchildren are. XD

Raiga hit the nail on its head... the movie is all about the grandma.

My Japanese friend who saw it commented the movie pacing is not as good as Tokikake but pretty okay. Just not as good as the girl jumping time movie.

definatly a good movie. see it tonite, well tonite in japan, and tho i didnt understand every word, it was really good.

cant wait for the fansub.

there was quite a bit of english in the movie, computer screens and such, i wonder if this is gonna get a international release, say by WB themselves since they are the major studio at the begining of the movie. also english in the ending credits

Very much looking forward to this one. Reviews on yahoo japan have been stellar so far (4.45/5 compared to 4.44/5 for tokikake...about the same)

Really can't wait for this movie to come out on dvd. I'd better stop watching trailers and reading stuff about this before I really get spoiled.

This looks pretty wonderful! Since I need to watch something new that isn't Haruhi or Rebuild. I saw a commercial for this during this week's Haruhi, and it looks very good.

Any hope trailers could get subtitled?

I've been anxious to see this for a while, and seeing fanart on Japanese sites only builds my anticipation.

I can never the directors name, but I'm loving everything he does more and more.

Anyone know when a subbed version might be out? Or even where a raw can be found?

We'll have to wait - it's only in cinema for now, I guess DVD will be out in ~6-9 months

The trailer looks pretty awesome..

However, I won't be watching the anime as that it seems..to be more suitable for a younger audience. The Windows 7 and also the MMORPG customization looked impressive though!
