I think Naruto's answer is cool, and it isn't surprising. The entire manga is big on trust, so obviously, Naurto decides to trust Jiraiya. *get teary*

but if he doesn't kill that guy, then what?

wow great chapter...really makes up for shippuden but anyways I had a feeling that Naruto wasn't going to kill nagato as much as I didn't want to believe it. I mean will Nagato still be after him to capture the nine tails or whats going to happen?

I think this is most likely...Nagato isn't really the bad guy, just a puppet that Madara is using to collect the Jinchuriki. I could see Naruto and him "sort of" teaming up to find true peace...

Nagato is after the same thing afterall....but he's done to much to go back to being a good guy. Only thing that he can do to redeem himself would be to fight Madara...which I think he will and die in the process.

But who knows...GREAT CHAPTER! Next weeks is going to be intense...back to the OG story.

i doubt Nagato would be able to live much longer, i think Hanzo will kill him in a very cheap way

Am I alone in being lost on a lot of the action sequences in this chapter? I really didn't follow what was happening in that fight, it was all a blur and pretty poorly drawn.

Nagato is going to die, regardless of Naruto's actions. We'll get some kinda speech and then BAM, we have ourselves a dead cripple.

So, in the end, Nagato went to capture Naruto, but Naruto kicked his ass and he won't kill him....

dead cripple XD. Yeah that guys going to die. If he trust Naruto, either Madara or Danzou guy probably might/would kill/hunt him.

Anyway, spoilers said Danzou ruan away, but he wasn't even shown in the chapter (or even him on the cliff previous chapter).

Well seeing the statue and the scratched forehead protector make it clear that Pein is the foundation for Akatsuki, even if the organization actually formed under Madara's control. Not a bad chapter, though we still don't know exactly when Nagato came in contact with Madara to found Akatsuki. That might be something Madara himself reveals instead of Nagato.

Also, it was hard to notice because of the netting on his undershirt, but Naruto hasn't healed. When he lifted up his jacket to get Jiraiya's book it looked like he had bleeding puncture wounds. I guess Kyuubi and sage charkra have reached a limit?

The only part that confused me was Nagato rescuing Konan. I'm not exactly sure how he managed to carry Konan away from the explosion when the explosives were wrapped around his own legs.

The spoiler said that Danzou probably fled when he saw the statue. In other words, that was the writer's guess as to why he's not shown.

They will re-emerge and try to take over Konoha with Tsunade down and out...not for the count but spent.
