Warning (for those that actually need it to realize): This is completely, absolutely original. Do not consider this part of the story at all. No swimsuits really came from Earth. Any "facts" about the setting and all of those stuff are not to be considered real either.
...... *nosebleed* Fuhihi, nice bonus! Well, to be honest, it was a bit irritating that JC Staff decided to make such an episode with less reason to exist than the pebbles on the road... But putting that aside, it was an enjoyable episode (comedy-wise) and had delicious fanservice (the nameless girl to the left with the braid-hairstyle, I think that is what it's called?, the girls on the right, Siesta... fuhihi), so I'm satisfied. Well, rather, since the story is already distorted beyond repair, it might have been better that they didn't try to animate any story and just make some random fanservice episode. ......JC Staff really put in effort in drawing the bodies this episode, huh... Though for a moment near the end, Louise's face distorted into someone else......

Louise in a bathing suit FTW lol it was a very predictable episode and the octopus rubbing louise lower part was funny.... i enjoyed it and laughed the whole time... On a side note i didnt know agnus had such big boobs and MonMon was looking pretty decent...as for Tifa and her outfit..well what can i say lol.... Its a realiable way of getting money, but at the same time not the most useful way. Look at Toradora, I have little doubt that it will surpass ZnT sales very very quickly and it wanst centered on the fan-service at all.
You could say taht Toradora has deeper characters, but the problem is taht ZnT characters are not that shallow themselves specially later in the series with nice character development... It's just that anime decided to make them shallow to the extreme. Well I guess thats the difference between good director and ZnT director. Good director can make series shine without degrading himself into fanservice...while ZnT director (aka bad director) has no talent whatsoever and has to do fanservice trying to cover his complete incapability of directing. For me ZnT died with season 2. Season 3 is just a necrophilia. Last edited by Darknemo2000; 2008-12-27 at 21:27. |

Oh boy...
I can't believe they dared to make that piece of... well you know what I'm talking about. I had really high hopes with Zero no Tsukaima. Last episode of season 2 almost makes me cry. But hell, season 3 screwed it, ALL. And here I was expecting something, dunno, something that could make up for the calamity season 3 was, or at least explain it. But noo. What I saw was a bunch of fan service. Anything besides that would have been good to me, dammit. Anything besides that. Here lies Zero no Tsukaima, buried between Tiffania's boobs and Siesta's breast. Maybe a bit of Louise's... Huh? Wait, she doesn't have any... Zero, the same as this OVA's rating. Truly a painful experience for me. |

I just laughed and facepalm at all the fanservice. They really should have made Saito to wear a sea shell as the 'bottom' of his 'bikini'. And and the monster had to be a octopus right? It was an entertaining episode, since the lame-ness of the fanservice, artistically, it's awful.
Toshokan Sensou proved to be that DVD original episode can be good.

Someone made a drink recently called "Tentacle Grape". That's all I could think about during this episode. Other than that, I don't really have anything smart to say about this at all. It was all pretty much mindless fanservice.

LOL purification rituals in Zero's world FTW. Honestly, they are all that naive, except others actually liked the suits being more revealing. (Very ecchi for all those whom are going to watch it).

If people rates an anime by how close it is to the manga, tying it so close to a manga, they probably forget this is not a manga. When people rates the anime according to how close it is tied to mange, it makes the anime looks bad when this is actually much better than a large number of mangas and animes out there. There's a thread for manga reviews.
Anime-wise, for those without any manga knowledge. Although it was a bit rushed(which I think is not as bad as 2), the story about tabitha was pretty well-done. It was quick, precise and tabitha had quite some development for such a short series. Seems like it focuses on different characters each series. |

Manga? What manga? Do you even know what are you talking about?
You do know that manga and novels ARE different right? This is based on novels (though not OVA in particular). There is a manga too (based on novels as well) but it is dragging so much behind that it makes no sense to talk about it. |
