Mind you I don't have the game yet, my comparison with Sagat wasn't based on how they play but on the fact both characters are top tier in their games and both of them don't seem to have any unfavorable matchup, seeing how people so far in other forums are commenting on V-13.

Agh! Just played with a friend who has one, Taokaka is rad...

Pretty much I mashed the control and seemingly I can pull of a few nifty stuff. My friend now is mad at me since he lost to my button mashing.

I say fuck competitive play, I play to have fun. and if you're going to spam the same 2 or 3 moves over and over, I'm gonna spam the same 3 or 2 moves over that counter his cheap moves.

This person i was fighting liked to spam Noel's "Cheap Tactic" so i decided, "Hey, lets see if this person can counter someone elses cheap tactic" and sense I was using Jin, I fucked their ass with bunch of ice spells and easly enough, They couldnt even attack after that. Seeing that their only "SKILL" was to spam

Not to say I couldnt have beaten her without using cheap tactics, I just thought it was Fair to fight fire with fire (even tho i was using ice)

Whats the point of Ranked matches when it doesnt do a damn thing except show how determined you are to being the top Spam user. Well thats what it seems like online anyways, everyone using their characters spam tactics.

The only two characters I deem "actually" cheap, are Arakune and Jin, Jin's Ice moves and Arakune's Bee attack from hell. Not that its hard to get around, but it gets annoying when everyones doing it to get a higher rank.

I think it more has to do with annoyance than difficulty to counter. The spammers should be easy to beat for any decently skilled player who knows how to dodge and block. If I'm fighting nothing but spammers in ranked matches(while it may mean easy wins for me) it wouldn't be that enjoyable.

Supposedly, the 360 version is getting unlimited unlockables(like unlocking unlimited characters without having to play arcade) for 80 Microsoft Points, but that stuff can just be unlocked through normal play.

That's why I came to animesuki and HongFire, asked for people's ID, because I believe I'll have a decent matches against you guys .

I won't put my hope in GG vs BB, because I have a feeling they're trying to put an end to GG franchise.

Wow that sucks. Guilty Gear is still my favorite fighting game series and May will forever be my favorite fighting game character.

Of course, this doesn't mean that there will be no more Guilty Gear. I just wonder if this means that SEGA has full control over the franchise where they could make their own characters(god forbid)? Even worse would be if they transformed it into a 3D fighting game.

As I've mentioned earlier, 360 users also get additional alternative colour last week which makes the characters resemble certain pop culture icons :-

That i agree with, though i could do without the amount of people that would just say the Bright formula is being reused. Instead, a reverse trap would be better.

The Rachel with Hatsune Miku color scheme is pure win.

Bang has a Strider Hiryu scheme, Litchi has a Morrigan scheme, Tager a Colossus scheme and for Ragna it's probably a Gintoki scheme(although I'm not quite sure on that one). I assume Arakune's colors are a reference to the Japanese flag, Nu I'm pretty sure is a Gundam and Jin is probably a Ky Kiske scheme.

Those are all the ones I can name at this point.

I don't think Jin is a Ky theme. Ragna I have no idea. LOL @ Hitsune Miku/Rachel. Morrigan=Litchi is a good fit.

Not sure which gundam v13 is supposed to be. All I know though is that v-13 is just plain old RIGGED. Teleportation+massive amounts of projectiles every which way != balanced.

You're right on this one. Take a closer look at his Japanese Seiyuu to see what I meant earlier. BTW, I do see Rachael in Rin Tohsaka colours in the future.

Alright now I really think I got it this time. Tager has a GaoGaiGar color scheme.

I also think I figured out Noel; I'm defenitely getting a Seras Victoria (from Hellsing) vibe. I'm not sure about Carl yet, but I think it might be a Detective Conan scheme. I still can't figure out Hakumen and Tao.
