You can just PM me or Klashikari about any fixes. And we could use some people to insert for episode 2, if you have the time.

I thought I'd let sterling get a start on episode 2 before helping out, but Umineko episode 3 is already about 1/6 translated and inserted. Of course, the real patch will have to wait until we can get those onscripter effects, since they're so heavily used in the game.

I want to get started but those first chapters are so fucking boring... even more after I played Ep 3

Does anyone working on the patch edit Wiki? Since you guys know the details of the games, it would be nice if someone could create individual pages for each of them, since somebody has made the main page spoiler-city.

As promised, we were finally able to get back our pace, and you didn't have to wait more than a single week. Well, this time, you will be able to finish your first journey to the Golden Land!
Witch Hunt is proud to announce that the third patch for Umineko no Naku Koro ni is available!

The third patch covers Episode 1, Legend of the Golden Witch. You can get it with the following links (several mirrors):
[WH] Umineko 1 v1.0 22MB (rar file)

There is an additional instruction with this patch: please do not overwrite the old patch if you were using it. Rather, please delete it and then install the v1.0. Worry not, the save states are not in the patch folder.

Please be sure to check the readme file as some specific points must be taken in account for the full use of the patch. (It has been updated, and a FAQ has been made for your convenience).
Also, remember this patch only works with Episode 2 (game). It does NOT work with episode 1.
Please remember that Episode 1 is INCLUDED in Episode 2 (just how it was for Higurashi), hence we are not skipping any episode at all. But the patch can only work with the second game, translation wise, it is about the first episode.

There are. Just look at the character profiles.

The save problem is still there. I had saved a fair bit before the end of the first day, and it was fine up until the start of the second day, where it is again in Japanese. Is there no way to fix this, because I really don't want to go through the whole first day again.@_@

Oh you're talking about the normal Wikipedia page aren't you? Well the Higurashi page is full of spoilers too, I mean Hanyuu is even on the front page. So I'm not really surprised.

Yes, there is a picture of Hanyuu, but that's it. All the spoilers are in the sections for the individual games.
