Hmmmm,

I have the impression that Archer was lying when he said he did not know who he was to Rin.

Am I mistaken?

If he did, then it TPTB are trying to merge the scenarios together and that's just stupid on their part.

Maybe he was 'killed' when Archer sliced him with the 'released' twin swords?

Did archer say something along the lines of 'I thought I left them (memories) behind me' (I thought I had forgotten them)

Does anyone have a precise translation of that line?

Now that was dumb indeed.
1) You're talking about downloading a game, which as you may guess, doesn't enter in a "legal" category.
2) You're talking about playing a game which only interest is its text, and no translation (except for the demo) exists at this point in time.
So just enjoy the anime, and stay clear ^^

Most people here read Moonlit World, which summarizes the game.

While this is true, a) a translation is being worked on, and b) you can play the game using a text-hooking utility and autotranslation software. I've successfully used method b) to play through all three scenarios of the game, and I know very little Japanese. Granted, the level of the translation you get is about Babelfish-level, but it's good enough to know what's going on.

Japan? I dunno, one should always google first. If you're looking for a place to start, try PlayAsia (not sure if they'd have it though).

Himeya may be good. My friend in Japan sent me the game after he completed it, so I can't vouch for you.

Mind you, the level of Japanese in Fate is pretty advanced though. It took me like 100 hours to complete 2 scenarios. Then I found out there's CHINESE translations on the net.

If you can read Chinese and Korean, then playing the game shouldn't be that hard.

Where do I find the translations?

Is it a patch or a script?

Hope you got a Japanese friend in Tokyo who's willing to pass by the weird shops of Akihabara to get you the game. ^^

The author of Anime Games Text Hooker (which has now moved to here) has updated it and it now works with Fate/hollow ataraxia as well as Fate/stay night.

Type-Moon will send you a working .exe file once you send them the "Unique-Key" and what kind of error you got from your starter file.

Steps:
1) Download this file http://www.typemoon.com/support/makeunique.lzh and run it. (Don't if you downloaded the game like half of the guys who got it from Animesuki's evil twin).
2) Make the ID and copy it in a .TXT
3) Send a notice to Type-Moon saying what kind of error you got. Here -> http://www.typemoon.com/support/protect.html
4) Play. ^_^

Have Fun with Fate!!
I'm having trouble with #2 and on.

I got a .TXT I think is the ID inside it. So I'm not sure if that's making it or whatever because I can't copy it to a .TXT if I already have one... It might be something else, I don't know.

For number 3, I don't know japanese, and I don't know what to put in the text boxes, AND YEAH!? HELP!

just a little question... is there any kind of "action" in the game? or is it a visual novel 100%?

Was expecting some sort of character control for fights and so.

(I'm not too used to this kind of games)
