gotta post my comments when i'm done with it, but the beginning give me already some bad points for makoto...

okay, done... here is my summary. It isn't very dialogue heavy, but once again it isn't reliable due my japanese "skills"

Spoiler for summary EP2, PART A:

Makoto is reading a love book. probably to get some advices.
why? well, in fact, the episode starts with Makoto having a date with Kotonoha.

Speaking of the devil, she arrives and notices Makoto reading his book. the slow joe finally notices her, and tries to hide the book (well... not really useful ne...)

the following scene is the usual "activities sequences" without any voices, but a "slice of life" BGM.

they are going on date and things aren't really smooth (to me anyway).
First, they are going to a book shop, but Makoto is "reading"... a mature magazine (swimsuits and all, but i guess it is porn later on) Kotonoha sees it, doesn't get mad but is quite embarassed. Makoto finally realised kotonoha presence and cuts it off (once again... too late, mate...)

Next destination : arcade (wth??). Kotonoha is trying a UFO catcher, and we see makoto with... bunch of dolls... he is sure skillful with these...
Makoto then plays hardcore on a fighting game, and is winning, proud in front of kotonoha, who is speechless (talk about obvious)

Then, they are going to some restaurant (finally something "normal"). Kotonoha is looking at the menu, Makoto arrives with a plate full of... cakes and various sweets, embarassing once again Kotonoha. (diet? doesn't like sweets? no clues)

outside, Kotonoha bumps on a "gangasta" like o-san, making him angry. Makoto interrupts him and stay between them, but doesn't do anything. The big guy is going to turn his anger to Makoto (who is scared btw), but kotonoha decides to stop him and apologize properly.

Makoto and Kotonoha are in the station, and he is in his train, extremely happy (he sure had lot of fun by himself...)
Then, without warning, Makoto is taking the "kiss" pose, with obvious face. Kotonoha is surprised and embarassed, and is even trying to step back.

However, the door alarm occurs, and the doors are closing. makoto is surprised and is quite disappointed, while Kotonoha is alone at bay, blushing.

then, the OP. (explicit nudity for Kotonoha, Sekai and Setsuna. ho well... much like Nanoha Strikers, with nipples as an extra )


At school, HUGE arguement : Sekai is yelling at Makoto. I think the reason is quite like how i imagined : Sekai is horrified how Makoto was leading the Date, while makoto is oblivious and surprise he did wrong -____-"
Sekai complains that he should consider girl feelings and tastes.

Makoto then brings the topic about the kiss of yesterday, but being as embarassed as a child.
Sekai turns into "tsuntsun" and says it doesn't matter and they are only friends.
Then Sekai orders him to be much more serious, and gives him 2 tickets (Cinema i assume). She suggests him to take advantage of the mood, of course teasing him about it.

Sekai then leaves him, cheering him. Makoto got more spirit after sekai advice.
Then she then joins Setsuna. thay talk about something (couldn't get it), but it made Sekai blushing. (probably the kiss matter). Sekai then laughs, and says she wouldn't do such thing, as a cover. She then leaves for classroom.
Setsuna then sighs, obviously doesn't believe her.

Back with makoto, in his room, he is reading once again his love book.
He is going hyper and is imagining the date.
However, he realises that the tickets are only for tomorrow.

Kotonoha is taking a bath, thinking about Makoto. Then her little sister comes, asking her for the bath. Kotonoha then leaves. (uber fanservice ensue, of course)

Next day, Makoto and Kotonha are then going to the cinema. The board is showing 3 movies. left one is a zombie fest, the middle one a romantic movie, and the right one some fantaisy (a wolf and a moon). Both are looking at... different posters of course. Kotonoha is pleased, while Makoto is quite hyper.

They are both alone in the theater, watching the Love story. Makoto mentions that for a date, love story is a must, which Kotonoha tries to agree. (yeah, trap, kotonoha was expecting the zombie movie )
Kotonoha thens mentions that the movie looks like their current situation, comparing her and sekai with 2 characters onscreen.
Both are embarassed, but Makoto argues the fact that kotonoha shouldn't be compared with the character, since she is much cuter. (flag +1 i guess). Then they are interrupted by DA scene of the movie, with the guy on his sweetheart. Kotonoha is mesmerized, while makoto decided to make his move.
However, Kotonoha turns her head, which make makoto panick and giving up his attempt. He is extremeley excited and keep staring at kotonoha's lips.
Then "sekai advice flashback" kicks in. The movie is in the "hot" scene, and makoto is then staring at Kotonoha's chest. Finally, Makoto remembers of another sekai's advice, and realises Kotonoha's hand. He grabs her hand, and tells her she is pretty. After 1-2 lines, he once again tries to kiss her, however, Kotonoha panicks and slaps him. They are silent, and the movie ends on the 2 girls, breaking their friendship.

Then, both are in a restaurant, but they don't say anything. Makoto apologizes, saying it was sekai's idea. Kotonoha then asks if it is kay with Sekai, but Makoto doesn't see the problem.

In the train, they arrive on Kotonoha's destination. the mood is still very silent and awkward. Kotonoha apologizes, then left quickly.

watching Part 2 and preparing the second part of the summary.
one thing to say : Makoto reaches already the mid bottom of my respect and silly scale.
i fear the worst for the rest.

At school, Makoto is complaining about Sekai's plan. This comment makes her angry, and she yells makoto is an idiot, which doesn't really please the teacher of course.
then, they are "chatting" with their usual written messages.
After some messages, Sekai once again yells makoto is an idiot. The teacher scold her she is the idiot.
more messages ensue.

Makoto then goes to Kotonoha's classroom, but he is intercepted by Katou Otome, who is wondering it is rare to see in this area. She asks who is searching, and Makoto answers it is Kotonoha. After a lil chat, they don't have the time.
Next hour, Makoto is rushing, while Taisuke asks where he is going. Makoto answers "something important". Taisuke is surprised and says "'more than me!?" which Makoto replies "it isn't related".
Makoto run and meet Kotonoha, saying he will wait for her, though she sounds like she will be late.
After a little chat, Makoto says he wants to know more about her, but it has only started, and she run for her class, while makoto keeps repeating he will wait for her. Sekai witnessed the scene.

Kotonoha leaves the school, but Sekai was waiting for her outside.
Sekai wonders why she is leaving this way, Kotonoha answers that it is because of the bus. However, sekai things she is doing this so she can avoid makoto, who is waiting for her in the station.
Sekai assumes this idiot is still waiting for her.
Kotonoha asks to Sekai to stop calling makoto an idiot. Sekai thinks it is okay, since both of them are idiot.

At the station, Makoto gives his love book to taisuke, who is really thankful, though makoto think this book didn't help him at all.
Sekai and Kotonoha have a further chat, and Kotonoha says she is scared.
Sekai then talks about Makoto (lots of things... guess she understand much more than Kotonoha). And they end in the "ecchi" topic. Suddenly, sekai thinks about what makoto will do, and swiftly go behind her and assault her chest

Kotonoha then wonders something, and she thinks sekai is somewhat envious. Sekai assures her it isn't something like that. Kotonoha asks if it is really how she feel about Makoto, but Sekai answers she doesn't know.

Kotonoha is finally decided. Sekai is wondering if it is the bus or the train, kotonoha already left.
When she arrives in the station, it is already night, it seems there is no one, but Makoto appears from her back.
Makoto is comforted, but tries to say he believed in her ("nice" follow...).
Both apologize, but Kotonoha says she will do her best, then approches him, holding his hand, then, in a slow motion, kiss him.
Kotonoha says that since she is his girlfriend, she wants to know him more, which Makoto agree.

We see their shadows outside of the station, kissing and hidden then.
The following scene STRONGLY suggests they have sex intercourse (that's only my opinion, but the lines, the scene, the music and timing don't give me any other idea huh...)

the second part wasn't that bad as i was expected. kotonoha is very shy, and it really looks like a remake of KGNE, mitsuki cheering a lot and even forcing haruka.

i'm quite surprised they were going that far... and i'm still wondering how far Sekai will be able to keep her position as "matcher".

I heard that Anime Yoshi is gonna release the subbed episode 01 soon.

Yeah...I guess we all know here that WinD is also taking up this project as well as Higurashi 2...but there a bit slow at the moment as they are lacking in staff currently but I can't wait till they start releasing stuff....they're one of my favourite fansub groups and their IRC channel is great.

heh, AnimeYoshi. Word has it Conclave is going head to head with a ep 1 release as well. What makes this extra special is that rumor has it these School Days release battles have two old friends going at it: Spinal and Pichu.

I'd appreciate it if you guys can support the pichaa and get Conclave's version (too)

Sekai first says that Makoto is as troublesome as a child. Setsuna then asks her about the ticket to which Sekai replies with the question if she had wanted to go. Setsuna angrily answers that she didn't even ask her. Sekai laughs it off, saying that she herself wouldn't have had that kind of free time anyway.

After the first 2 messages which just contain trivial insults (bakabakabaka ), Sekai asks Makoto if he made up with Katsura afterwards. "Not yet" is what Makoto writes in reply to the question. He doesn't understand what Katsura is thinking. Sekai's reply says that Katsura probably just isn't used to being with boys. Makoto asks if that's what the problem is. Sekai's answer: "Yes, you just surprised her." She adds that Makoto overdid it since Katsura is sensitive. Makoto writes that there was something in the book, after which Sekai asks what book he's talking about. He tells her about the love book he had bought earlier.

Actually Taisuke doesn't ask whether it's more important than him, he was about to say something about if it had to do something with him (or not, we don't really know) but Makoto interrupts him and says that it doesn't.

I liked the episode, a bit better than the first one. I still don't think it will come anywhere near the game but we'll see.
And Makoto still is yet to show his really twisted side.^^

The "Kotonoha bullying" hasn't started yet. At least Makoto didn't tell Otome that Kotonoha was his girlfriend. From what I saw in Summer Days, Otome and Karen are very active in stopping other girls from getting too close to him.

Yamagata never did appear in the School Days game, did she? Though in Summer Days, she is supposed to be in the same class as him.

Hikari-I suppose the anime will pair her up with that Sawanaga. Any of her paths in the games, it feels so twisted. In School Days (Hikari path), Sawanaga is a beast. Hikari and Makoto aren't any better. In Summer Days, I recently got a Hikari (bad end because no title?) end, once again, twisted. It's like Hikari is attached to Makoto only because of his body.

Just finished eps 1, and man, its only in the end when Sekai stole the kiss that I remembered how much I wanted a continuation when I first saw the OP of the game. My heart again was torn to pieces knowing Sekai was helping the guy she liked to hook up with another girl, and succeeded quite beautifully at it. And when she deepened her kiss... T_T

So needless to say, Sekai all the way. Sure she's not Osana-Najimi (my #1 moe element), but being the '(best) friend who only wishes for the protagonists happiness even at the expense of her own' ranks as #2 lol. Underdog ftw!

I dont know if it's in the eps later but for thoes who have watched aniyoshi release did they skip the opening i just previewd it and heard a song at the start and was just wondering becuase on youtube all i find is the games op not the anime and really wanted to see it?

This is normal, there isn't any "true" OP in EP1. Probably an inserted song. (much like Sola ep1)
Episode 2 has the opening (it isn't like the ep1 or game op, unfortunately... rather a "meh", just like serenade_beta said)
