Honestly? I know this is supposed to be fujioshi and focused on Haruka and all of the guys attraction to her, but I actually would've been more interested to see Haruka and Tomo work together.

- YAAAAY TOMOCHAAAAAAN!!! I missed her! ♥ She and Haruka are so adorable. Ahh, why isn't she a love interest...

- Ren's brother. Oh. Oh. Why hello, elite millionare businessman with glasses, funny hair and a slight case of brother complex.

- Seriously, is that hair genetic or something?

- Ren's lines are probably meant to be smooth and charming, but they're so hilariously cheesy, they never fail to ruin the mood for me. There he is, has a nice romantic mood going on, and out of nowhere he drops a bomb like "I'll wait until you're an adult" WHAAATT XDDDDDD (Slap him, Haruka! Slap him!)

- Btw, Cecil, if I were you I wouldn't flaunt my stalking tendencies in front of the girl I used to stalk. Go Tomo-chan! Protect Haruka!

- Ren has very impressive lungs and throat if he could make everyone hear him in that arena...

- Also, best action scene so far: RenBro putting that CD on like a boss.

- Oooh, Haruka said the "s" word! She also rhapsodized about how Ren's singing makes her hot, I think this is the first time she said anything like that to anyone. She was pretty proactive in this episode, I guess they're trying to make up for the lack of raburabu with Ren in S1.

- Haruka aside, this is totally an episode about Ren and the men in his life. First Masa dropping the tsuntsun act and being a concerned osananajimi ("I've known you all my life, I know when something is troubling you" = "I LOVE YOU" in BL-ese), then Ren's brother issues and bro's Ren issues, which culminate on some sort of rooftop(?) complete with setting sun, and the brother dropping the "I've always loved your music" line. We all know what that means in UtaPri. XD It doesn't help that both RenBro and Ren look like guys out of some typical BL manga.

So, er, I'll be over there looking for RenBro x Ren fanart.

Spoiler for 6:

- Ren's brother reminded me of Ric's father from Arakawa
- He is so epic that he makes the CD sparkle
- He has a brother complex and their scenes were so gay.But then Ren strikes with his overly-cheese lines.
- For a moment I thought Ren was going to do a JoJo pose
- I will never understand why we never got Tomo route if they are adorable every time they are together

Honestly the only thing I like about him is his seiyuu (I don't hate him though) but my Suwabe fever passed some time ago. I do like this song he sings with Camus (unfortunately youtube doesn't have the full version):

I guess next is Natsuki, I listened to a preview of his song and Orion de Shout out was 10 times better but at least I'm sure we're going to get some laughs.

both of you pretty much said everything I wanted to say about this episode, especially the comment about Ren's voice, his cheesy lines in english and Haruka's pro-activeness... and that BroCon moment

Anyone else felt like watching Slam Dunk after seeing Niichan dunk out that cd??

My Suwabe fever got in full bloom after hearing him as Grimmjow, I dunno why but it does more heart damage to me than Ren.

SATSUKI!! asdgasha I'm dying to see him next and hopefully [much wishful thinking] he'll interact a bit with the other STARISH members... at least he will with Cecil (I guess, since all the others have been doing it)

LOL. This show has actually made me like Suwabe more. Before, I always thought of him as someone who always played either assholes or romantic leads. Or sometimes I got him confused with Shinichiro Miki.


I also find it rather cool and amusing that most of the actors like Suwabe and that guy who voices Cecil are in their late 30s/early 40s and still can kick it better than most of the current crop of actors out there. This cast not withstanding.

I'm actually surprised Ono or Namikawa aren't in this since they can both sing as well and are usually in ladyfanbait like this.

I guess next is Natsuki, I listened to a preview of his song and Orion de Shout out was 10 times better but at least I'm sure we're going to get some laughs.

Hm I didn't really see any sort of brother complex like others are saying. Did I miss it? All i saw was an older brother who actually cares about his brother.

Though that running scene was hilarious.

Also I've always wanted since the season started an episode where Haruka, Cecil, and Tomo are together as some odd trio.

Well, age doesn't matter a lot in voice acting in their age range, especially for men... (unless they smoke or drink heavily or something like that)

It' been a long time since I last heard Namikawa sing on his normal voice (and sing seriously - he sang the OP to the fake Mossan anime in Azazel-san XD) but as I remember his voice is not really suited for these type of songs...
