According to Humanity6, this is official confirmation list of servants will appear in Fate/Apocrypha. 7 Red Servants, 7 Black Servants, Ruler and especially some servants were cut and replaced with new character. Here the list (Note - * mark mean new servant that was not part of the designs for the original canceled online game project.): Black Faction

Humanity6 mention about introduction new magecraft called “Double Summon” where servants can be summoned as two classes: Semiramis, Ruler, Siegfried, Karna & Achilles.

The Red faction is basically a bunch of freelancing bounty hunters with established notoriety hired by the Clock Tower, with the exception of the guy from the Church and the guy sent by the Clock Tower.

My speculation
Since they say fate apocrypha is in an alternate universe to fate/stay night, i think it may be where Kotomine Kirei finds Shirou instead of Emiya Kiritsugu, thats why his last name is Kotomine instead of Emiya. I think they just throw in Shirou for his first name for familiarity, even though he could have been named differently since it is an alternate universe. P.S. Call dibs on this piece of speculation. I want a penny afterwards if it's right XD Edit: Also missed St.George. Don't know why they put Achilles instead. Did Achilles ever ride on anything in myths? |
