Wouldn't be surprised if they threw in Lady in the mix, as well. Considering how cool of a character that she is it wouldn't be the case. I can imagine them attempting to keep the game alive as much as possible just to bring in the additional sales and revenue.

Talk about this game is slowly dying down. I saw this coming, I know it's been a weak but I didn't know it'd be this quick before people were like "meh, DmC"

Noticed there was a bit of a contradiction in that sentence, from your point of view when reading it, but hopefully you'll get what I mean when I said "Slow" and "Quick"

You don't need to have a foul mouth all the time, you just need some cockiness and arrogance in the right place at the right time.

Kinda reminds why in DMC2 Dante he rarely speaks, but in the Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne he's pretty loud mouthed when you talk to him, still has that coin. Guess the director of SMT-N knows more about Dante.

Anyways I think the DmC movie is now officially cancelled after this disaster.Thank goodness.

Like previous Cashcom series being adapted into movies it didn't stop Hollywood from bastardizing the Street Fighter and Resident Evil franchises. Sure there's CG movies like Degeneration and Damnation so chances of said series being like that seems likely since it's been forced down our throats previous times. So it's technically like a calm before the storm, to say the least. Could be wrong here, but with what's happening or has happened to certain franchises turned movies, and this is Cashcom we're dealing with, who wouldn't be skeptical about the issue.

Well the game is getting a predestined sequel to begin with so no surprise there. It's like what with Square Enix is doing with FF13 all over again.

Holy shit I've just realized something- what if the changing of Dante's character was a ploy to get the people accustom to an eventual bastardized version in the movie 0_0

Because for whatever reason, Hollywood refuses to get them right so they have to bastardized it for them.

That's a strong likely case, but if Cashcom were smart, and they wish to save this joke of a Devil May Cry series and have redeeming qualities, they'd make it CG like Degeneration and Damnation. Making those two said RE movies CG practically saved the series from complete embarrassment compared to the Hollywood versions.
