I read a book that mentioned a guy who did actually pull off that exact feat on the Eastern Front, though it was 9 and not 8 tanks. Needless to say, he perished.

Lol! I think he stole Sakuya's Luna Dial, or else he couldn't have reacted fast enough to deal that KO punch.
