there is some chances of that. Jiart became irritated when he saw Izuru. Considering that it was their race who created humans for hunting, they had to know what they looked like. Unless Jiart was recognizing Izuru from something else.

My speculation is more like Izuru followed his childhood friend/gf and volunteered to become one of the soldiers to protect Earth sacrificing his heritage, identity and relationship. She came with at least one male, why not 2? After being mind wiped, he's left with a vague impression that he is a hero and that he is a human child.

If Team Rabbit found out that Izuru wasn't human, it would prob be a trust issue within Team Rabbit. So to keep that bit a secret, she can't jog his memory.

But there could be an underlying reason why he gravitated to shounen manga such as subconsciously he recognized that he's given up so much for this that he has to win, ie "be the hero".

or his desire to be a hero is what gave him a fondness for shonen manga. He just sees his idealized version of the type of hero he wants to be in them.

As far as I know, the timeframe for them being related is out of the realm of possibility here. The first issue is that the MJP started the program they're in before Teoria made the Wulgaru threat known. The second issue is that since the AHSMB units weren't finished until mid-invasion, chances are there were only a few years of preparation. It's very doubtful that enough time passed for Teoria to have any children or otherwise.

That's not to say there's a possibility for some other event to have occurred, of course. Something that hasn't been shown yet.

It's also possible that someone could have suggested to him that he would become the hero of Earth, or something to that effect. Someone important to him in his past life. Perhaps even Teoria herself? I suspect that we'll find out before the series is over where that infatuation comes from.

That's just from what he knows since his memories were erased. Perhaps subconsciously he remembered something from his past before the mind wipe that was merely brought up from reading the manga without him even realizing it. He wouldn't really recognize that because he can't remember his past anymore. He remembers Teoria over all other memories. That would likely mean that there was something significant about his past with her. Something he is desperately clinging onto despite the memory having been erased. Teoria already confirmed that they were just friends so something of significant importance must've happened.

I don't remember any of the other members mentioning having things left in their rooms though. Just Izuru and his manga.

They didn't have own rooms. They lived together so argument that Izuru get any special treatment is invalid. Also just cause manga were mentioned doesn't mean nothing else weren't here nor that it has any actual significance aside of stated.

To be honest I don't find teenagers to have shonen manga so unlikely, nor leaving it behind for kids with same (nonexistent) experiences after graduating. It's nice and heartwarming and perfectly suited to this show and thusthere is no reason look for conspiracy everywhere.

- Rabbits are being briefed by Daneel about the object on Mars - the operation they're about to go on is called "Operation Ares" or smth
- Did the Hideauze invade this world, too? Oh, wait, those are just regular squids... XP
- Godinion departs space station, while medical crewmember pours over the Rabbits' harmonics levels, notices changes in Izuru and Tamaki's readouts
- Rabbits launch and commence reentry (yeah, they got to the red planet THAT fast), in the middle of a brownout (I mean, a sandstorm).
- Wulgaru units are spotted fleeing the crashed object
- Tamaki gives chase while the other Rabbits (Asagi and and Izuru, without their armor) investigate the crash site, Ataru provides artillery/precision fire and Kei takes of intelligence/planning
- Daneel (who hitched a ride with them) uses a small mecha to explore the inside of the ship with Izuru and Asagi
- Tamaki is still dogfighting with airborne Wulgaru, while inside the ship the search party finds lots of Wulgaru corpses littering the ruined corridors

Second half:

Spoiler:

- Search party reaches some sort of sphecial construct (looks like the atmosphere is breathable, at least for Daneel, who isn't even wearing a spacesuit), which they enter themselves, leaving their mechs behind
- Daneel interfaces with computers inside (looks like the Wulgaru had bioelectronic implants)
- Looks like Tamaki's harmonics (and her effectiveness in combat) increase after flirting with the bridge bunnies
- Meanwhile the computer chamber starts to crumble...and the search party is practically trapped inside the spherical construct (the Wulgaru crashed spaceship is practically breaking down)
- Tamaki receives Izuru's distress call, inpoints his location, while Ataru tries to punch a hole through the hull with his cannon (which doesn't work because the sandstorm is decreasing the shot's effectiveness)
- An exit is finally created and the search party exits the ship, pulled out by Tamaki's ASHMB-tow system.
- However, Tamaki's maneuvers caused a lot of damage on Rose 3's hull
- All Rabbits are pulled inside the Godinion, but Rose 3 seems to overheat inside the hangar, forcing the crew to initiate emergency cooldown procedures
- A weakened (by the accruing heat) Tamaki is pulled by a (heroic) figure that she thinks is Daneel...but suddenly identifies as one of her large-framed mechanics (thus dealing a painful death to her "damsel in distress saved by a handsome knight fantasy")
- ED rolls in
