That or they just cram the whole match including the national tournament and the fight between Saki and Teru in just 3-4 more episodes....which i think is highly impossible.
There probably will be a second season, since Saki is pretty popular(I think). But the problem is when. Will they wait for the manga? Or are they going to make their own story from now on?

Personally I can wait. It's not like I'm going anywhere, so as far as it's within the next 5 years I don't think I'd have any problem.

Not according to this:

TV Tokyo has first airing rights. If anyone airs it before them they would be royally pissed .

The manga has to catch up first either way. With a bi-weekly manga, expect about 20 or so chapters a year if everything goes well... so 2 years minimum. (Since the anime was working off of 45-50 chapters of manga, maybe even 2 and a half years...)

With the long rests the mangaka takes, make that 3 or 4.

Speaking of which, I finally got a response to my email to her!

I won't quote the whole thing, but the gist was:

"Sorry I was late replying, I seem to be late for everything lately."
"My family's home is in Komaba but I don't live there anymore actually..."
"I haven't even been able to go to a single ADR session, I feel like I can't go out very much..."
"I saw the subtitles on Crunchyroll and thought 'Whoa! Cool!'"

So anyway, that's pretty cool (even if we don't end up going out for a drink).

Now that I think about it: I wonder how she got around the region locking?

ph33r the tech savvy japanese and their l33t proxies that can forward streamed video. Or maybe she was just bluffing. In any case, it was nice of her to reply after all, even if you couldn't get a chance to sit down have a talk.

Actually, as the mangaka, she probably is allowed to see the Crunchyroll episodes, most likely not on Crunchyroll proper, but direct from the actual place that subs them.

Probably...

I don't know if Quarkboy is subcontracted through another company, but AFAIK he directly works for Crunchyroll... well I wouldn't know. He can tell you himself I guess.

She specifically said in her email that she "went to crunchyroll's site and watch the subtitles"... Perhaps the people from TV Tokyo showed it to her or something at some point (they obviously have access from their account).

I wonder the body pillow that comes with the LE R2 DVD Vol. 7 will be? The Amazon.jp product description is maddeningly teasing. It seems that Vol. 7 will have episodes 16-17-18, the height of the taishou match, so I kind of hope it's Koromo. And there's already a vaguely dakimakua-esque Koromo poster in Megami Magazine.

If so, I think it might become the first ever R2 I buy. I've always been a "I only buy R1's and stuff in English" sort of guy, but...a Koromo dakimakura is just too tempting (*´Д`)

Yes, that's actually exactly true.

ZOMG IT'S TEH KOROMO!!1!

Also, I don't quite get the point of that sort of "yuri pillow"...somehow it just doesn't seem as "interactive."
