A hard Sci-fi mech from the manga "Knights of Sidonia". It is about human refugees on space immigration ships fending themselves from aliens(shape shifters I think).

I think Muv-Luv is still very hard sci-fi compared to that.

What are the contents of the book? I'd be interested if it's about mechas etc.

I guess like the usual guide books, they will give more explanation about the TE world. I think they will give explanation about the mecha and test flight teams too, but not as detailed as Integral Works.

But judging by the title, it feels like its aimed for newcomer to muv luv world who started from TE anime to have more understanding about the settings.

EDIT: found the official webpage.
Google translated the description and it seems good! Too bad it's only 136 pages.

Here is the trial version of World Guidance which was released back in September when the the full version was scheduled for November.

http://gianism.jp/article.aspx?a=32

Though it does appear to be exclusively on the anime version, there should be some newly disclosed material, such as in depth coverage of the Battle of Kyoto, the Active Eagle's development etc.

This makes me wonder whether they will release another settings and designs book for the Total Eclipse game, but an artbook is more likely.

Didnt know about that trial version before, looks good to me.

I think they will make "Total Eclipse Memorial Book".

I haven't read my Integral works but seeing its thickness makes me think it has covered almost all the setting materials, so this guidance book and another memorial book should be enough to cover the rest.

Yeah, don't remember seeing the old LD's though. I'll try Mandarake later I guess. What do they contain usually?

Well, I think they are the place for japanese collector to sell their used/unused item. If you lucky enough, you can find good thing at decent price, but it gets sold out quickly IMO.

Anyway the preorder for Total Eclipse World Guidance on AmiAmi has ended. On the other hand, they reopened the preorder for Kotobukiya Type-00F Deluxe ver (f*ck you kotobukiya!). Link
Also, the yukon base jacket is up for preorder again.

Is it true that even old A3s from 2007 and 2008 are reissued in Hobby Rounds?

Off-the wall here: does anyone have any pictures or links to people who mod their Koto kits? As in: Complete modifications, not just refined modelling work on the kits.

I'm planning something, but since Koto kits are more expensive pound-for-pound than Gunpla--plus have slightly different design/assembly, I'm not sure fi I want to commit to doign what I plan on doing.
