No need to be specific, as we are an all time tournament, we use general names for series, instead of certain season, or ova release name.

I find the promo video for this year's ISML to be too... solemn.
As if it is not a theme of welcoming, but of reminiscing.

Just watched the newest PV........
Its, sad............
Felt like this year will have lots of newcomers that are going to crush veterans,
Which makes the video seems, dying wishes.......

Maybe alittle too sad, but still an excellent PV now that I seen it.

Yeah, I think it's a bit too melancholic. I still like it regardless, but I preferred last year's PV which was more lively and energetic.

Ironic that, IIRC, people thought the previous video was too quick-paced and fiery while this one too slow and sad.

I can see why it can feel too melancholic, though I personally kinda like that calm-before-the-storm / night-before-the-big-journey feel that it emanates. It's trying to convey the more beautiful and heartfelt side of the tournament rather than the exhilarating one; I think that's a pretty nice approach.

That and Gentle Jena is awesome. Now I want to replay Planetarian, damnit. ;_;

About 2 weeks from M-Day (Moe Day). Will this be exciting, or will it reflect the music?

It is that time again: Space Opera Time.

Prologue: The Aftermath of the Third Great Moe War.

Near the end of the war, the KyoAni Empire had managed to hold half of the Galactic Core. This was mainly due to the efforts of the K-onsonance in Haruhi's name. The Grand Systems of the Joint Council of Stars (J.C. Staff) held five world mostly due to the efforts of the Kugimiya Knights, President Hinagiku and the tactics of Techno-Commander Misaka. The Ghosts of the Nebula, remains of the Shaft Empire, held two worlds, with the DEEN Directorate's Saber holding the final world.

At this time a great conjunction happened, scattering all the outer worlds and forcing a major confrontation in the Core Worlds. The K-onsonance between dimentions would claim victory twice for Wing Commander Mio and once for Flight Lt. Azusa and their worlds. However this would cause the entire galaxy to shatter (from moe overload?).

But not all was destroyed. The Galaxy's stars and nebula would shift from the great conjunction. Empires would fall due to losing communications with each member world. Alliances would fall and piracy would prevail. Dark times...but not the end of times. Hope remained as the galaxy's turmoil would eventually end.

For a new day dawns on the Galaxy. The stars are settling once again. Now the task is to see who survived, and what new stars have been forged in the time since the Conjunction. Only then can the Empires and Alliances attempt to reclaim their destinies.

M-day comes.
