- Laputa: when he graps Shita from the tower to save her (he was hanging upside down...)
- Fate Stay Night: the ending of Saber

- Macross Frontier: when Sheryl sings "Diamond Crevasse" in the ending of eps 6
- Macross Frontier: when Ranka sings her version of "My boyfriend is a pilot"

When the Garuru Platoon first landed (end of second season, around episode 100-103), and it seemed like the Keroro Platoon was losing, but then they made an amazing comeback and they all just pwn and it's just amazing! I was like, "Yes!"

Then, the third movie. Just...the third movie. It was amazing beyond words.

Episode 9, when Fuuko tells Nagisa and Tomoya how much she had fun before disappearing for good, but not before giving her newly-wedded sister Kouko a wooden starfish (and a hug) first ;_;

At the very end, when Tomoya is reunited with his daughter Ushio. The music in the background combined with the two running to each other is so adorable.

First, episode 16, when Nagisa dies giving birth to Ushio was so sad and so beautiful at the same time. Then there was episode 18, when Tomoya finally apologizes to Ushio for being so neglecting towards her.

Then, in episode 19, Fuuko's comeback.

Also, L's death. It just...it kind of hit me like a rock. I knew it was coming, but it was so horrible to actually watch it happen. When L's eyes closed for the last time, I shed a tear because he was one of my favorite characters and that Death Note would never be the same without him.

And then Ryuk, the whole time. He was awesome!

Hina's death towards the end of Traumend. At the beginning, she was selfish and childish, but she matured throughout the series and was able to tell Tomoe that she wasn't afraid of death anymore. She said how much fun she had with everyone, and then died in Tomoe's arms ;____;

The Day of the Sagittarius episode. It was just pure awesome when they had the enemy boss trapped like a rat, and Yuki delivered the final blow. I was like, "Owned!"

The scene where Hachimaki proposes to Ai. I got the impression that's how the game was heading (although I thought he was going steer it towards saying "I love you"), but I admit that at first I was wondering what he was doing at the start.

When Ichigo first releases Zangetsu while he's training with Urahara. It's got to be a textbook "show off your new powers" scene and isn't really all that original, but I think it's just awesome all the same. I think it's how all the elements of the scene fit together - Ichigo seemingly cornered, Zangetsu telling him to man up, the opening riffs of "Number One". If I was going to point to one shonen fighting series that could conjure up a moment of awesome, Bleach is a pretty good bet.

It seems to be the hot new series these days, and it does seem strange to call anything from it "most memorable" as it's so new, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to remember Koyomi's "It'd be great if it came into fashion. Senjougahara fascination" down the line. Considering the context, it's a killer. The only thing he could have done better is kiss her.

The end of episode 4 - Miyazawa's been agonizing about how to confess her feelings to Arima. He sits down next to her in a student council meeting and she decides takes his hand in hers beneath the table. Sure, the show seemed to have a budget of maybe a hundred bucks, and the latter third or so kinda sucked, but when it was good, it was REALLY good.

Spoiler for Macross Frontier:

Pretty much everything in episode 25 after Alto rescues Ranka. That sequence is pretty much encapsulates the whole "pop stars and music make fighting in space AWESOME" thing Macross has going for it. It also doesn't hurt that the songs are catchy as hell and the whole thing has some bad-ass animation.

I really liked Gungrave's episode 14.

I thought the whole elevator scene was really well made... actually, the entire episode. You just feel something is up, the way they visit all those places. The long, silent elevator ride was a great tool to get a sense of reflection going, thinking of all that has been done and why things had to turn out in such a way. Then of course, the dramatic killing scene: "BRANDOOOOOOON!!!"

The most memorable part of Animes that I've watched:
When Kanon and Jessica's (from Umineko) death I have to admit that it was quite sweet but very sad and depressing~!

When Uni and Gamma's (from KHR) relationship before Byakuran came.

When Kuran Kaname and Yuki Cross's (from Vamp. Knight) relationship were more than friends~ ^u^ (I meant, before all the conflict about Zero)

When Enma Ai sacrificed herself during the second season's last episode (from Jigoku Shoujo)~ I cried a lot~!!

Azumanga Daioh episode 5; They all go up to a cottage/cabin, and Tomo takes the keys away from Chiyo and throws them into a patch of tall grass. Hours later when it's found she tries to do the same thing again.

Ga-Rei Zero episode 4; Yomi, Kagura and the pocky ^.^

Hiromi notices, and she looks out of the truck window, her hair blowing in the breeze. he slips and falls in the snow, and Hiromi runs out of the truck, only to slip herself and have Shin cushion her fall.

also, when Hiromi goes riding on a motor cycle with Noe's brother only for the two of them to crash. Noe and Shin arrive on the scene via taxi. Noe runs to her brother. Shin confronts Hiromi, only to have her say, "i'm all right." he embraces her, and she starts to cry, finally realizing how much she means to him, and vice versa.

also, when Shin finally makes up his mind. He shows his book to Noe, which concludes having Jibeta imagined he was the star of the show, only to realize that the other chicken was the one to fly. Shin returns to Hiromi's apartment and finds it empty. he ventures out into the bamboo forest and finds her. she begins to non-chalantly talking about wanting to see the picture book Shin illustrated, only to have Shin interrupt her and say, "lets go out." and "you can see it any time, because i'll be with you forever." and Hiromi is all like, "forever? that sounds like a proposal. i haven't even agreed to go out with you yet." they hug, solidifying their relationship which they knew was there from the start, and i squealed like a girl.

this show was vastly underrated. its a much more mature romance than you usually get. sort of in the vein of Honey and Clover.

yes i agree with you 100% this was amazing and True Tears is a great series that is really underated

From my childhood, Digimon Adventure 21. For a kid's show this episode surprisingly had a lot of human psychology thrown in it, in purest form, from the perspective of a child. It was a very successful accomplishment and I remember it well.

When Takuya and Hiroki meet after 3 years and the fight scene that ensues is pure epic The music there was fantastic and it shows the tensions between Takuya and Hiroki and the Hiroki's and Takuya's feelings about Sayuri.
Also, the when Tayuki kidnaps the body of Sayuri with the seen with his co worker was REALLY GOod!!.

Also Clannad After story

When Tomoyo meets his grandmother and realizes all his dad went through raising him....and him comforting Ushio at the end of the episode was really memorable. Also Tomoyo telling Ushio how Nagisa (her mother) and the subsequent scene was beautiful.....luved that episode
