I think I've successfully summed up the episode. Episode preview seems to suggest, however, that a good one is up ahead. I think the really good one is still to come animation wise. This episode could have been better if not for this back and forth scene changing. The last two minutes of this episode what salvaged 269 for me. Ulqui is dialogue screamed badassery. How is Ichigo going to beat him and this seems to be his best.

Ulqui actually had to take a leak REALLY bad. He just done so while releasing so no one would notice and so they could continue on with the fight.

It really, really is. They should either start with the OP, or show some of the episode and cut to the OP at a really good part. Dramatic effect is important.

Idk the rukia parts and chad + renji parts just seemed really boring to me, and i just wanted to see my ulq vs ichigo fight. Plus, it's not like rukia is gonna die (this early...or ever probably), and that bad guy was pretty lame too.

sure, that would be nice. except that isn't what they are doing. they are just interrupting again and again and again without any progress.
for comparison, she only interrupted once up to this point on the manga side.

I only read the manga after their fight because it's going on in the anime.
