I agree with this video since the problem i have with the Purge films is that nobody would be that stupid to implement such an insane law.

Its a fact that scientist believe that if you fell in a black hole, since time is so weirdly distorted, it is possible you could see into the future, as well as the past - and they mean waaay into it, from the big bang to the far off future. I found it pretty interesting

The Strange Reason Nearly Every Film Ends by Saying It’s Fiction

Basically, the reason the "This work is Fiction" Disclaimer exist in every movie is because MGM made a movie about Rasputin and claim everything in this movie is true including him raping a prince's wife who would later kill him and got sued by the real wife of the Prince who killed Rasputin since the wife has never meet Rasputin.

In Rasputin's case, it seems the need for the disclaimer is due to portraying a real life situation, advertising it as such, and then failing to acknowledge that some parts of it may not be portrayed accurately, which may lead to the wrong impression of certain real life individuals. Also, according to that article, libel seems to be valid only for living people. I wonder if there's any need for the disclaimer outside of a potential libel.

Also, according to some of the comments, it seems the disclaimer may not be adequate defense in the presence of clear defamation. That also puts into question the usefulness for the disclaimer.
