Well, Kishi would know because its not up to the studio to decide when the fillers will end, its up to Kishi. When he feels that he is far enough in the Manga to be comfortable with the continuation of the anime is when the fillers will end. The reason he knows the date, is because he as assuming by April 2007 he should be far enough in the Manga to let the Anime continue without catching up easily.

However I do agree with you 100% on it effecting the Naruto (Anime) no doubt. So we'll just have to wait and see on how legit it is.

Well of course, its Advertising if you go back to the beginning chapters of the Naruto Manga around when the Anime first started they placed shot's from the Anime in one of the chapter's to let the fans know that a Anime has been made.

It probably has pages with Naruto merchandise as well (guessing).

Besides...i assume that Kishimoto assumes that his fans who read the manga also watch or want to watch the anime....and to announce such a thing is only good

It was a pretty good episode and it looks like the arc will have pretty good action. Of course, the art style is the same. I swear you can tell its a filler by the art style alone.

As for the filler ending arguement, both points of view have valid points. The decision can go either way for various reasons. It looks like we have an end date for the fillers, but ill believe it when I see it. We've heard that twice before.

As usual, any non-cook ninja and/or mailmen-ninja episodes are great

LOL.... the official statement from the Naruto Anime in the manga says that the fillers will end next year February spring 2007. for more information check out the Fillers discussion thread so don't lose all hope.

actually, knowing when the fillers end just makes the filler until then all the more unbearable.

Like I said earlier, I bet people knowing exactly when the fillers will end, will make the ratings for Naruto in Japan drop a pretty good chunk. I think it was a dumb move, business wise, but I'm not complaining about not having to see speculations after each and every episode.

You see Naruto small (before the timeskip)...and the other picture of Naruto as he is now in the manga...both are in color. This could mean that the source was true... Well unless i read a translation...this remains a bit uncertain....but it seems that there actually is info about it.
