I think possible theory (and theory here) was that the girls in the test tubes in 6 became the numbers. Jail must have change their hair chromozomes and such in the process of doing so to give them that evil look...Of course 2 tanks were apparently empty...of course I will wait for the doc to explain how they were created before jumping into more conclusions...

Despite all of this Erio can certainly have more value to the plot by surviving the incident, while Fried's death could be the best way for the dragon to contribute to Caro's development.

About Fried being female: It got left out during that bath time bonding back in Episode 6 (I think?), and nodded knowingly when Erio commented, "How long are they going to shower?"

This shows that Fried's a boy IMO. Feel free to dispute.

I'm not sure if German is like Latin where you can tell the gender of the word by the ending... I do know Friedicht is "Freedom" in German, dunno the gender of that wordform.

"Friedicht" ... no idea about such word
"friedlich" is an adjective that means "peaceful", the noun for it is "Friedlichkeit" and is feminine
"Frieden" is "Peace" and is masculine
"Freedom" is "Freiheit" in German and is feminine.

Ah, the name "Friedrich" itself is male in German.

Friedrich isn't a familiar, though. He's a real dragon. Caro said she's had him since he was hatched from an egg. Friedrich is a pretty masculine name, anyway.

Not sure about Lutecia, since she seems to be going to the RF6's HQ...

Caro already said Voltaire is big and black...if Voltaire has one blue eye and one red, then I know who Voltaire is

while the thought of Fried's death could be the cause of Caro's crying in the preview, I don't think I would want Fried to die yet...I feel like he's part of the team, even though he doesn't have much screen time lately, but its like killing off an important character.
Maybe he could just be seriously injured to the point where Caro must use her Black Dragon in substitute for Fried.
