Actually, you are wrong. The West Coast does have tornadoes and hurricanes or similar storms, just not very often. And the rest of the USA does have earthquakes, just not very often.

As for China, it doesn't have that many earthquakes, just big ones when it does, it seems. And the recent earthquake affected only a small part of that enormous country.

The episode ended up enjoyable, but I really loathed Kinnosuke through most of it. He was almost worse to Chris than Irie-kun used to be to Kotoko. I suppose we are supposed to forgive him because he didn't want to be disloyal to Kotoko. But I hated it when he was stalking Kotoko, too. At least Irie-kun is now showing some of his more affectionate side. About time. Kotoko just gets better, as far as I'm concerned. And more grown-up.

Earthquakes are not that big a deal here in California. I haven't felt one myself in over 10 years. The earthquake scare here is very over-rated and only talked about by tourists.

I won't lie...but if there is anything I hate in a relationship (and there are a lot of things) is how the heck can you (the partners) not know whether or not the female of the pair is pregnant, or not. I really hate how scenes like this seem to be rocket science when you should know what the outcome of whatever you did on bed should be, it's really simple...really...but they make it seem like such a shocking thing has occured. Here I am talking about Kotoko being shocked that she might be pregnant. In all honesty, how can anyone not know after having sex...there can only be two outcomes anyway not trying to get into any detail. I just find this cliche extreme and stupid though I suspect someone might try to steer me another way here

Besides that I think Kin should get shot in this episode...clear and simple, he went too far with his abuse and expected christine to come running back to him. No good, Kin needs to be shot and poor christ for picking such a lousey man (I thought he had changed but it seems like he still is the "big man" as before).

Not one of my favorite episodes I must say I enjoyed the later bits, namely how Kin was in tears about the foolish mistake he made...serves him right

Gosh I'm in a weird mood today

In other news...anyone catch the album for the full ED?

It really sneaks up on you. Ive know couples that spent years casually trying, to no effect.
Ive known others that use multiple types of protection and still seem to get pregnant everytime theyre in the same room.

In Kotoko's case, I think shes just a bit childish: she really doesnt think too far ahead, even if in theory she should be able to.

I haven't seen 16 yet, but you sound surprised about Kin. While everyone in here was talking about how great a guy he was, I've never seen the attraction to him. He's an asshole who occasionally has a good side.

Then again, girls do tend to pick assholes...

oh and side note: I really am starting to like Chris now. She's like my second fav character (KotokoxIrie are my fav right now obviously)
but Chris....def. like her alot, very kawaii indeed! Especially since she looks more normal and dresses more casually. she looks better that way. and her whole relationship with kinnosuke is kinda cute lol.

Either way Irie is my fav, right there with Kotoko. Irie is just...different, and while he kinda comes off as a jackass he does truly love her. And it's kinda refreshing to see a male lead not be like....obsessed and a wimp.
And Kotoko because she's too loveable.

edit: I know in the manga chris isn't the one to initially go for Irie.......but is Chris even in the original manga AT all? and does she even look at all similar (if anyone can find a manga chris i'd be appreciative)

Yes, Chris is a real character in the manga. She just shows up a little later, is all. If you google "Itazura na Kiss" you can find a nice page of manga summaries. They have a little pic of manga!Chris up, but her character description is pretty spoilery for the series.

Still at the early part of this episode. But all I can think is "don't do it Kotoko!" No need to drag Chris into that kind of situation. Let her feel sad and move on. Just because your insane determination finally worked out doesn't mean that things will go fine for Chris. Could just end up putting her into a bad situation.

Wow Irie echoed my thoughts. How odd.

Man Kin is acting pretty bad. Fine to be like that since she'll just be back later....Seriously now I want her to just get on the plane. Any long term relationship with this guy just isn't going to end well. Get the heck out of the country while you can. Besides can't see anything good in this thing anyways. Other than him fitting her type for looks he hasn't really shown any positive qualities to her at all so better to move it along.

Oh man thought he was going to catch her. There's a relief....Oh come on. Don't make me think we're in the clear and then do this. MOral of the story is to keep on going until a person's feelings change or something horrific happens. Oh well hope for the best for Chris. Though she is walking into this one.

Irie's mother once again strikes. Jumps the gun on the pregnant thing and doesn't even think about getting her tested on it first. Now they have to return all that stuff she got or store it something for a long time down the road.

Wow so she passed. Guess Irie helping, date promise (they are married and she still has to make bets to get dates....)and her insanely working hard really paid off. Some nice work there.

Someone posted earlier that and Kotoko and Chris are the real moral winners because they continually pursued the objects of their love even when it was unrequited and undeserved. Like you said, the major theme of this show is how pure, unconditional love can win out in the end.

I would be really surprised if Kin doesn't redeem himself later on. It doesn't matter if he treats her like crap now, just like it didn't matter how badly Irie treated Kotoko: the focus is on how both women are eventually "rewarded" for their perseverance by having these knuckleheads fall in love with them.

I don't feel like being sad or something like that therfore most of this ep was a little bit annoying but their mother turned it, she is slowly becoming my favourite character in InK.
Everytime she is involved the eps turns out to be funny and a hell of a ride

And Irie-Kun ... what the heck, why is she calling him Irie-Kun, they are married and they have done "this and that" and still she is calling him Irie-Kun .... even if he is sometimes a bad ass again, he has changed to a male lead character I can't dislike anymore

I would like to give two thumbs up for Naoki's mom. She is always there to help Kotoko in times of trouble especially when some random girl tries to steal Naoki away from Kotoko.
