It's obviously fake especially to the eyes of the veteran game players from Ep 16's title. I thought you will know better.

I'm a bit confused at this point...to recharge Saber's mana, who did Shiro do the procedure too..Rin or Saber?

Ep 16 should be titled "勝利すべき黃金の劍" instead of "約束された勝利の剣" if Nasu did really plan things to go according to the latest netabare.

i don't really see how you're dismissing it based on that.
it's only an episode title and it doesn't necessary mean that's the way how the episode will play out (since most people associate yakusoku sareta shouri no ken as being more than just excalibur, but saber's theme).

and besides, the point where shirou's nerves (magic circuits) are actually going to be transferred onto saber, the berserker fight is definitely not going to play out the same exact way as in the game.

i don't really see anybody else taking that much note of the episode title for 16 either.

Spoiler:

約束された勝利の剣 (The Sword of Promised Victory) is Excalibur's second name, it associates with Excalibur, not Saber. It doesn't really feel right to have it in the episode title unless they plan on showing it (like in 12). And as we know, Excalibur wasn't used in the Berserker battle. Unless they DO plan on using it again, which makes little sense plot wise.
勝利すべき黄金の剣 (The Golden Sword of Destined Victory) would be Caliburn's second name. If episode 16 really is going to be "that" part of the game, then this should be the title. Whatever Saber's "theme" may be, it makes little sense to have the name of a sword that she won't be using as the episode title over the one that she will be using.

Either way, if those spoiler previews are true, this means they'll be using up 3 episodes on a single battle, which can either mean that have something really good in the works, or they're about to bore me.

We'll find out when episode 13 airs this weekend, when we get to see episode 14's title.

Just wondering about the command mantras,
do all masters have an equal number of command mantras to start with, also do the shapes of the command mantras have anything to do with the master, for example a family crest, their personality or something like that?

I don't think they will show it. Their focus is on Saber and Shirou's saga of Fate storyline.

Yeah, i know that.. but if anyone were to rewatch episode 03.. then they'd see that one's already been used. It doesn't really matter who's story it is - that's just something thats missed out.

Karen is a priest sent to take Kotomine's place at the church. It's hinted, but not exactly stated, that she may have been his daughter (so not releated to Ilya). She has an odd ability that makes her in tune with all the evil going on around her... or something. It's why she wears the bandages IIRC.
