We’re proud to inform you that will be organizing ‘GACC’ again this year! GACC 2007 – Games, Anime, Comic Circle, is a convention celebrating people’s passion in Games, Anime (Japanese Animation), and Comics. GACC 2007 is brought to you by EMiNA (Exploring Magic in Anime), an interest based club in Multimedia University (Malacca Campus).

Among the highlights of these event include the Cosplay Competition, PlayStation 2 Competition, Character Design Competition, Colouring Competition, GUNDAM Plastic Kit Competition, GUNDAM DIY competition, Magic: The Gathering and World of Warcraft: TCG tournament, sales of merchandise by various vendors, doujin (fan-made comics) sales by fans, as well as demonstrations of various trading card games, designer boardgames, and electronic games.

For those who are interested to participate the activities, you may get the respective forms and more details regarding each competition at our very own website If there is any query please do not hesitate to email us at gacc07@gmail.com.

What’s more? Admission to GACC is FREE as we hope that everyone will be able to experience this thrilling event. Aside from that we would be subsidising and providing transportation from KL to Malacca at RM15 per day (seats are limited to first come first serve basis). The bus list is currently open for application!

*Seiyuu Appearance update!*
We are absolutely ecstatic to announce that our event will be graced by a visit from a famous Japanese veteran voice actor (seiyuu) and narrator, Mr Toru Furuya who has confirmed his appearance in our event. This would definitely be a monumental occasion due to the fact that this will be an unprecedented public appearance for a Japanese voice actor in this region!

You would not want to miss this golden opportunity!

Mr Toru Furuya (古谷徹) is most known for the roles of Amuro Ray (Mobile Suit Gundam), Hyouma Hoshi (Kyojin no Hoshi), Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya), Yamcha (Dragon Ball), Kyosuke Kasuga (Kimagure Orange Road), and Mamoru Chiba/ Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon). For more details click here

Mr. Toru Furuya will be giving talks on his experience as a seiyuu on stage. There will also be an autograph signing session. Last but not least, he will be acting as judge for our Cosplay Competition.

Here are some updates for GACC2007

Accomodation
King Hotel
Once you take the bus and reach Melaka, you can drop down at King Hotel as the hotel is just near by the main road from Air Keroh tol heading to the Melaka Sentral. It's opposite Hospital Pantai. King Hotel is very near to MMU. There's Jusco & another new mall nearby too. You can take a bus or taxi from the hotel to MMU Melaka (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To go to MMU Melaka from the hotel, you have 2 options
1. Cross the road and head to the Hospital Pantai & take the bus from there. You can take either bus Wira or bus Tuah. It cost less than RM1 (Plz ask the bus driver where the bus is heading first before get on board or else you'll end up going to Ayer Keroh tol >.<)
2. Take cab and most probably you'll be charged for RM8 or so
