Unfortunately, vanilla still dominates hentai, despite NTR/guro becoming more accepted, and exiting the doujin-only exile. Rape as usually depicted in shoujo manga and hentai (which doesn't have much relation with reality) was always present, and unfortunately as certain vocal groups try to redefine has more to do with the mentality of the victim, rather then the crime itself.

Probably there are more titles before the 90s when there wasn't so much publicity and hysteria from critic confusing fantasy and reality.

Nyaruko may have tentacles, but she's not of the same species as an octopus. Nor of the same family or genus, or even from the same planet. I doubt their genetics have much of anything in common. No, I'd guess judging from the bump on its head and the crowbar it's holding (and the takoyaki Nyaruko's carrying) that she was looking for some Earth-ingredients to make her own takoyaki with, and the octopus objected to the idea.
