Seriously, though... Second season? There's not much left I think. At most, you can probably add one extra episode, but that's just about it.

On another note, remember the introductory scene from the first episode, where Ren is helping out Shinra in her morning routine? I wonder if that's actually the nature of their relationship after the finale. In other words, just a start of something more—a good enough ending if I say so myself—but unfortunately, not the one I've been hoping to see.

ep 13 ~ end.

Well that was just a perfect end for the series, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Even though it could have managed with more depth, it did manage to kill two birds with one stone.

The first bird to kill was obviously the feelings between Shinra and Ren. It didn’t get any better at the start either, oh no it didn’t. Ren made the situation with Shinra worse by accidentally pouring a drink over her important papers. This escalated to Shinra threatening to fire Ren and was announced to everyone. In light of that Hato nee also told everyone that she would resign with Ren.

But luckily for Ren, everyone in the house didn’t want the pair to leave and helped convince Shinra. They made her realise that she has been changing for the worse though she denied it at first. But there was no denying that after her resistance to sexually harass Miyu when she offered! Yea, Shinra realised that she was in the wrong and apologises to Ren (and talk about the service. Ouch it was top notch!).

The second bird to fry was Ren’s father. The guy confronted Ren the following day and they go off somewhere quiet to talk. Ren’s father tries to take him and Hato nee back and started beating him up even though he begged his father to leave. Shinra and Benisu came to help but see Ren shaking on the floor. This is probably a mental scar engraved inside Ren that he could never beat his father. Ren even listened to his father to go get Hato nee but Shinra was there for him.

Benisu became pissed at the way Ren’s dad was talking and punches him in the face. But the bastard responds by giving Benisu an equally powerful blow. He was about to give it to Shinra as well but Ren fought back. Shinra stopped him from giving the finishing blow and Ren tells his father that he isn’t violent like him. He also tells his father that this is where his family is, and without use, Ren’s father gives up. Benisu then gave him an ass kicking that he would never forget.

Alls well that ends well and Hato nee tells his beaten father that he should stop drinking and being violent and maybe he could see them again. The truth is is that even he was lonely being by himself.

Shira was finally able to play like herself in the upcoming performance (with his previous tutor telling himself that this is how she should be playing). Ren congratulates shinra but she gave him a forced kiss himself as a reward.

The ending was a mixture of everyday life scenes (very heart-warming :3) and a treat scene where we see Ren, Hato nee and their new and improved dad visiting their mother’s grave. Oh this a really depressing goodbye. I want moreeeeee!

Why, it's about family of course. That seems to be the overall main theme of the series when you think about it. Beyond the comedy, the fanservice and master-servant/hero-heroine drama, it all boils down to family.

However, I kind of think that the father and son confrontation is a bit weak. I guess I just expected more intensity in that scene. It mostly plays out like it does in Shinra's route from the game, but as I thought it also has some involvement from Mihato. Like in the game, she helps in reconciling her family together. The scene of them in the cemetery in front of the mother's grave is actually a nice touch. But holy crap, Miyu seducing Shinra in exchange for rehiring Ren? That shattered Shinra's world view right there.

Once again we get Polovtsian Dances being played. Quite the popular classical piece nowadays it seems. As for Shinra and Ren? Well, that kiss is a definite start, but it's no wedding dress. In the end, we get all the usual slice of life hilarity of Ren's workaday life, and even Miyu gets Ren to dress up for her crazy fantasies. And Ageha... she's just everywhere. Literally.

Simply put, Ren is still everyone's bitch.

All in all, it's ok. But it's not as good as episode 12 in my opinion.

I think I'll let this sink in for a while before sharing any final thoughts if ever.

Pretty much, the drama was really played down, but I guess they did manage to pack all they wanted into such a short episode.

The family theme is really something that runs deep amongst the comedy. They have come and grown together over such a short space of time. It is really quite nice to see how Ren and Hato nee made a change on the family. But lets not stop there, onwards to season two! ().

Need Shinra in wedding dress, seriously .

Its fun to watch Ren being everyone's bitch once again, very very amusing XD

Mah, as far as last episodes go, pretty average.
Everything turns out fine, and it's a harem end where everyone wants Ren.

The dad thing was solved faster than I expected... Just a couple of punches, beatings, and Mihato, and he's reformed... I expected more from him.
Pretty bad person, abusing his children like that. I mean, punching and kicking them... If you want to abuse them, use a glass pen and write on them!
He was everything I expected from him, except the quick forfeit.

Shinra's kiss was... sudden,
Not completely out of possibility, but still pretty sudden.

Happy, simple life resumes. Kimiaru quality.

Average series, through and through, from the mediocre drama to the mediocre comedy.
Plenty of fanservice, but lack of attachment to any character nulled that part.
Characters themselves weren't horribly boring, but wasn't exactly interesting beyond a certain point. Shinra only lost points as the series went on, seeing as how whenever she invoked drama, the others think they are wrong yet she is the one who's wrong (like Ren saying he understood her, and she goes off in anger... or the whole Yume thing... Why did Yume have to get slapped by her...), but at least she never said that "Call me Shinra-sama" again, which lit the fuse to my discontent with her in the first place.
OP/ED were simply average in both animation and song.

Mah, nothing special, but it wasn't horrible to watch.
To be honest, don't feel a bit sad it's over, but I would take this show over the thing (Blassreiter) that is taking over it's slot any day.

Banzai and a toast for the successful resurrection of the “Ecchi” genre. It had some weaknesses in the middle, but overall a really enjoyable show!

It also proved that all it takes is a good storywriter (Takahiro) and a minimal budget. Thinking about it, it makes me cry that he wasn’t allowed to do Tsuyokisu too - the game is 1-2 leagues better than KimiAru.

Nevertheless, excellent entertainment!

PS: That's how fanservice should be presented. And THAT'S a kiss. Since in most so-called "big" shows the protagonists even fail at holding hands for crying out loud...

Warm, unpretentious and far more entertaining than most higher-profile or more "serious" shows. The humor was good, the characters were likeable, and the "sex and violence" (lol) were a kick. We don't need a second season, but I will have warm memories of this good-hearted show.

The loops of spittle from the kiss were perfect. So was all the nudity under the end credits. Daddy didn't make much sense, but he didn't have to -- the story was almost symbolic, just enough to show the characters' natures. In any case, I love hearing Fujiwara Keiji under any circumstances.

Speaking of Tsuyokiss the game's sequel is coming out next month looking forward to it. Hope there's a remake of the anime...

Yup. After some time has passed, they get married. The game actually shows Shinra wearing a wedding dress. I guess if they'll ever get married in the anime, we won't be seeing it within the timeframe of episode 13. Of course, that's just me and my imagination talking, so don't mind me.

Funny thing is, Shinra reminds Ren that they're still master and servant. I'm curious as to how the proposal went, and who proposed I wonder? Was that ever mentioned in the game?

It has to be said however, that kiss was really one hell of a kiss. Somewhat long, out of nowhere and, well, definitely not dry and boring. (ahem)

I'm not going to get my hopes up for an OVA or extra something. It would be nice though. With this, all those awful memories of the Tsuyokiss anime can now be laid to rest. (Now that I mention it, there's also Tsuyokiss 2 to watch out for...hmm.)

i was caught totally offguard by this anime i though it was just a another low budget ecchi harem, downloaded an episode at random to kill time, saw the deathnote parodie and was like wtf. i found myself watching the whole show to see how many parodi/reference to other anime there was.
there is nothing mindblowing the story was "ok" the comedie was conventional but i enjoyed the show for some reason.
this is an anime i would have ditched without a second thought if i had just started by watching eps1. it falls into the kind of anime you remember having watched and enjoyed but cant remember anything aside from that.
sidenote : i loved the fact that the authors were totally heartless with the trap and stomped him to the end.

Hato-nee real relationship was never explored. Nobody won in this show as it is left ambiguous.
This was not about choosing any of the girls but about the relationships with ALL the girls. The most we ever got was the confirmation that both Ren and Hatomi are siscon and brocon!

Why oh why did Ren have to stick his damn foot in his mouth. If he hadent he would have Shinra's lips on his mouth but now hes just stuck with his own foot. Such a romantic scene they had it was nice very touching till BAM THE FOOT. I already knew they weren't going to kiss this time around but atmosphere was right for it if it had happen.
