Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention
One of two major anime/comics/toy conventions held annually in Singapore, the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) returns this weekend (Aug 20 [Sat] and Aug 21 [Sun]) to Suntec Singapore, Halls 401 and 402.
Among this year's guests are Paul Levitz — the former president of DC Comics who penned stories for most of the company's classic superheroes including Superman and those of the Justice Society — and Kishida Mel, the illustrator of a slew of popular anime characters, including those of this season's Kami-sama no Memo-chou and Hanasaku Iroha. Itou Shizuka, the voice actress for Beezlebub's Hilda, will also be making an appearance. Ticket prices range from S$10 to S$18. Details available here. I've got a lot on my plate this weekend, having just returned to work after a three-week break, so I may not make it to the convention. Those of you going, here's hoping that you'll enjoy yourselves! |

Despite being an Anime Fan, all these events don't really appeal to me- and the ones that I do go to were because my friends dragged me -_-
@Cosmic Eagle : Lol, you were involved with the parade ? During my time... I wasn't heh But I heard it was Hell on Earth for the participants (How many collapsed this year?) Quote:

Said dolls + our cameras total cost we were carrying more than 10k worth of stuff...my bunch must be really nuts...
Best cosplay this year...definitely the Suigintou on Saturday. General standard is better than last year's....last year was pure Miku spam.... Of course, that's not including Kousaka Yun's Tsukihi....
