On another note, I heard the manga was lightyears better.

I somewhat expected this after episode 5, so I asume you are right. Too much comedy imho. But I will watch the rest of the show, so far I still think its good.

They never really "finished" the Alice game. You know, the more I think about it, the more I think this whole thing was more about Jun than the Alice game itself...anyways, Shinku did say in episode 12 "If I ever become Alice, I want you to make a me a beautiful outfit". So there is some incentive for a 2nd season. Maybe the 2nd season can finish the game, and someone do become Alice or something like that. Like USCPharmacist said, all we can do is hope . I'd sure want another season too.

I like that part where Jun sewed up the tattered clown-doll, it showed a side of him not often seen, a gentle and caring person. Otherwise most of the time, he is constantly screaming at the dolls or storming off in frustration. The battles between suigin tou and shinku are gonna be awesome, the clash of black feathers and cherry blossom (?, or other type of flowers?) petals is like the good 'ol conflict between good and evil. Flower power!

Oh yeah, gd to hear that staff at AYU is just going for the xmas break. Yes, do look forward to ep7 and beyond of Rozen Maiden. Cheers people~!

Just finished watching the chinese subs of Rozen Maiden. Was with A-Keep's subs til ep 04 and I found out that I cant wait anymore, so I went on with Ayu's 05 and 06, and waited and waited, then I got 7-12 from chinese subs.

OMG this anime series is going to kill me! It's on my favourites list now. The story went on very well overall, though it's kinda short Starts with intros of dolls, and the funny episode 05 ( I REALLY REALLY liked that episode), and then halfway the plots and characters develop very nicely. Plus the ending is very nice, though I would prefer Suigintou to not die, rather realizes that what she did would not make her the perfect doll. She'd just become nice and...uh, lives with Jun and the dolls. She would make a nice addition to Jun's collection as she's kinda tall but I guess that's not possible unless they change her eye color, it's evil.

The cuteness of the dolls made me gave in to the anime. I love all of them! Hina Ichigo with her extra cute voice and actions, drawing etc. Suisei Seki is lovely (yes I do think so) while the overusage of "desu" doesnt annoy me, at all. I think it's cute Sousei Seki is cool... And finally, Shinku - She has it all. Coolness, beauty, anger, demanding, some humor, and the extreme cuteness!!11 argh I loved it so much when she removes her hood and lets down her hair in ep 12 and sit beside Jun, head laid on his shoulder. She also showed feminine when she cried when her arm was torn away, and in episode 05 towards Kun-Kun....lol.

I have little hopes, but I would really really be pleased and happy if there was a second season. The storyline I'd imagine would be probably Shinku on her way towards becoming Alice with another way, instead of killing the dolls and grabbing their Rosa Mysticas... plsplsplsplsplspls gimme more

I've been watching it and it's been great up till the somewhat disturbing episode 10.

Spoiler for what disturbed me about the episode:

For one, jun is turned on by the seeing the dolls in their underwear. That surprised me considering there really hasn't been any fanservice at all. (I guess the fact that they're loli dolls is enough)

but what really freaked me out is this scene:

WHERE THE HECK DID THIS COME FROM!?
