Shiori is back!! And she looks as cute as ever. She was the one girl I was hoping to see again, so I'm delighted she will play a huge role in this arc (or so it seems). Keima has already identified 5 potential hosts. The only ones I'm uncertain about are Chihiro and Ayumi. If I had to guess, then I'd say Chihiro is the one who isn't a host.

I liked how calm Keima was about the whole thing. He never panics or despairs no matter how dire the situation might be. He's the kind of guy you can count on.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

There is only one thing, that bothers me. In the manga, the character design improved nicely over the time. Not in the anime, though. Manga readers know, what I'm talking about.

it actually it was a good adaptation there were a few differences from the manga

A little bit rushed, but given they haven't ****** anything up yet then that's saying something to me. Also Yui is my favorite of the capture targets and they did the library scene between Keima and Yui well so I was quite happy to see it animated.

Elestia Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: California	Spoiler for Comparison to the manga: This episode still suffers from pacing issues since they covered 9 chapters into one episode, but overall they managed to maintain good coherency and consistency with the plot. The decision to cut out and replace Fiore who stabbed Kanon was probably another move to save time. I've always felt that this earlier portion of the goddesses arc went by rather quickly for a manga. It doesn't blow through like a freight train but it certainly isn't a glacier. The pace was a little fast, but it felt fine to me. Actually, I was a bit surprised. I knew they would push through a lot of content in the second episode because they would be able to with ease due to the nature of these chapters, but they got a lot further than I expected. My assumption right now is that they are taking these chapters that were already a bit faster in pace and pushing them out as fast as they can so that they can use that time on the more vital segments. Even though they pushed through a lot of material, the interactions with the targets were completely fine. I'm sad that Haqua got the short end of the stick here though. It's pretty clear that they're trying to focus on the goddesses, and so they left all of Haqua's internal monologues out to dry. She has a lot of things to say about Keima here. Oh well... Still, I'm pleased with the adaptation. I think they're doing the best they feel they can and it's certainly working. __________________ Last edited by relentlessflame; 2013-07-15 at 22:39.
