I haven't heard about this parent and child thing between the shinsos and shito. Although if that was true then how would that work? does it only work when the shito kills his own 'parent?' or if the 'parent' dies under any circumstance the 'child' dies as well? If you think about it the later would seem unlikely since Zelretch killed Crimson moon and got turned into a shito himself and yet still lived. If you look at the relation between the shitos as well, no 18 on the church list, Enhance killed the one who made him and took his place as the new no 18(if I remember correctly).

Actually, this has been a pickle for me as well. In the original doujin Tsukihime game, at one point, Arc mentions that "if you kill the parent shito, the child shito "dies" as well." Yet, in the official 27-shito list that the Church acknowledges, there are those two who became koyuu-kekkai wielding master-shitos by killing their parent-shito. hmm...

My conclusion of the first one, Zelretch...but he didn't take Crimson Moon's place. Crimson Moon's rank is still blank (succesor quite possibly Arc herself) And he was also one of the five sorcerers of the world that can truly use magic (something that no human can do scientifically with or without money.) If he is still alive against the rules of parent-child shito system, than that is magic. That is my own explanation.

As for Enhance, who killed off the former 18th rank shito for himself, I've no idea. Perhaps, him being the shito who is the most "human," he was able to escape death. However, it does explain that he is part-dead, part-alive...constantly killing himself inch by inch

Doesn't said rule appy for the Shisa only? Once you're a full vampire you can kill off your parent vampire if you're stong enough.

I recall Shion of Melty Blood trying to kill her Shito parent (Walachia) to calm down her blood lust.

Perhaps Enhance's parent vampire was really just another Shito Ancestor, not a Shinso. Enhance killed him and took his place.

Also, Nero doesn't have a parent vampire, correct? In fact, he's technically not a Vampire

In something that kinda took me by surprise, Arc and Shiki sleeps together toward the end. Hmm...I wonder if that was Director Sakurabi's intent, or did TYPE-MOON ask them to do it...

Anyhow, it was pretty interesting to see Ciel revive (not the self-neck-artery slashing bid in the game), Ciel explaning Arc's past (hmm, counter to Arc explaining Ciel's past?).

One thing that did get me wondering is "why the heck is Akiha so weak?" I mean, her strength when her hair turned red should be more great...as the head of the Tohno family! oh well, kawaii kara iikka...

I wonder if they are ever going to explain Kohaku's role in this (probably not...next episode is the last one) or Satsuki turning into a vampire...(seems less likely at this late in the story...but...?)

The ending of the episode surprised me. Didn't quite expect that resolution. Granted it really hasn't ended quite yet, but I was expecting some more vagueness especially when it comes to the relationship. Nice to know that the writers can come off the fence every now and then.

(whichever one they went to the theme park in) they re-iterated that Satsuki was one of the bodies still missing from the hotel (with a news report and a picture of the newspaper), although her actions haven't been suspicious enough really to be a vampire - and who killed the guy in the ferris wheel?

No surprised there since its parent was an H game visual novel. Anyways I got to see Ciel in action again. So im happy, and when Ciel revived that was interesting. Im also wondering about Satsuki, did she get turned into an vamp or not its still a mystery.

I think she did turn into a vamp cos i don't think Roa suck the theme park girl's blood. Shiki would have sense him with his wound if Roa ever showed up there. This is my opinion tho.

True, but Satsuki seemed so normal when they were at the amusement park. Its hard to imagine her being a vampire.

Why the heck is Ciel pulling out the spear? should have used the key or the the 7th testament..

I think in the anime they are going for the 'she doesnt know how to use her absorption power yet' thing. She looked surprised when Shiki's hand burst into flame. Bah she should be owning Shiki with her powers..

They probably wont explain Kohakus' role in this and just let people believe that she is just a nice maid. They are making it sound like Roa was the one who told Shiki to kill Makihasa.

As for Satsuki, dont look like she'll get turned in this one, but there is still one more episode so its still possible..
