i was also looking for that short guitar solo that is played before the ending.. sadly it isnt in the first and secong OST >__<;;

OMG. It's a good thing I didn't procure the large OSTs for nothing, because all I wanted was that short guitar piece that played before the ED in ep5.

Does anyone know where I can get English translations for the Podcasts from OST 1 and 2? I could only guess a little from my limited Japanese vocab, but I'd be really glad to have the translations for what the seiyuus are talking about!

yeah. its in the full version of it. affter a minute or so it goes into a guitar solo.

ive been trying to make out the voices but it was hard to tell which lines kyouya and mori were singing

thanks for the lyrics!! mori's voice really sounds different, guess its because we are so used to his deep low voice or ...that we even seldom hear his voice

Despite what others have said, that Guitar piece is NOT a part of Shisshou (sp). It's something completely different, unless there are two versions of that song..but I've listened to the one on the OST. But whatever, I don't think we will ever know why it's not on the OST. Or why Maaya Sakamoto didn't sing ANY songs for the OST or for the show. Even the one time Haruhi sang was actually another singer (Song is called Little Wing, and it's by..I want to say Chieko, but that sounds wrong. Whatever the case, it wasn't Maaya singing). I guess she was contractually obligated no to sing unless it was for her recording studio =/ too bad.

Just a sudden thought why Maaya Sakamoto didn't sing at all, because Haruhi is supposed to really suck at singing right? and since she is voicing Haruhi, it would contradict everything if she happened to have a solo in the OST since they were 'character songs' , people would think... eh? how come Haruhi can sing that well...... guess thats y she wasn't involved in the opening and ending themes as well then

Well, in other shows people who were supposed to suck at singing had character songs (I know this was the case in Digimon at least). I think it has more to do with Maaya being part of Victor and not of the company who produced the Ouran OSTs.
