I suppose that while the sale is on I could get the KV-13 and satisfy my curiosity about it, but I don't have any reason to bother with it otherwise, and it would be a huge diversion of cash from the projects that I already have started. Similarly, I don't really care enough about the KV-3 and KV-4 to send XP in that direction.

Speaking of projects, given the seven things I want to unlock by either their respective nations' March of Nations dates or by January 16, I've been marking my progress down on paper over the last two days, since there are specific XP/day requirements to make time. Some grinds seem far more annoying than others that way. On the other hand, my figures do not account for this weekend's x2 XP for everything bonanza.

I've had an excellent experience with the M6. I think I like it even more than the T1 Heavy. The gold ammo on the 90mm can pen any tier 8 heavy from the front with no effort, which is extremely useful.

I actually made a spreadsheet to track my grinds. I'm not normally a spreadsheet kind of person.

I wrote up a grind plan last spring that was supposed to be a realistic assessment of how much I could play while keeping good grades in class. Ended up overfulfilling it to the detriment of my homework schedule.

The T21 continues to be less horrifying than its reputation, though it's still cannonfodder in a Tier 10 like any other upper-tier scout.

Yeh, it should have been like the M7 though, a medium tank with light tank characteristics rather than a scout.

WN8 continues to be ridiculous. It favors higher tiers even more than the old efficiency did. I lost all my games in the M103 yesterday but I did more absolute damage than the other tiers. So my WN8 for the day was inflated to 2,438 despite all the losses. For the two days before yesterday I didn't play tier 9 and my WN8 for those days were abysmal 3-digit. Didn't they claim it was going to be relative?

How in the world is this a good measure again? So if I keep helping new players with midtiers, my WN8 will always suck, and if a n00b plays nothing but tier 10 and loses all games, his WN8 will skyrocket due to the sheer number of raw damage done by tier 10 alpha? Is this how it is?

Suddenly my luck ended last night: 6 defeats in a row and only one very hard earned victory. I'm starting to lose my will to play with such horrible teams.

Also I got the SU-152 in my alt account. Very sluggish stock, but once tracks are unlocked it becomes better (also the HEAT ammo pen on that thing is obcene).

I only ever used the 152mm on the SU-152, no gold (it wasn't available for credits then). Best gun ever. I have fond memories of that tank.

Acquired AMX 13 90. My silver balance has been depleted to 25% of its pre-holiday sale standing.

HEAT bounces too much if you're far away because you can't control what exact spot you hit. If I'm sniping, I like using HE. I feel like I'm a mage throwing fireball at their general direction.

I've always thought of the SU-152 through 704 to be self-propelled battleship turrets - if they turned any faster, it wouldn't feel nearly as powerful.

Yet Kuroialty's WN8 is 2731 at an average tier of 3.10. WN8 can still be inflated by playing middle tiers, you just have to try a bit harder.

My current 7-tank grinding project means that I'm actually not paying a lot of attention to my stats, and that's... actually kind of liberating.

Of course, when one of those grinds is a 24-KPH SPG with a 500-meter-range HE-only derpgun, it's not like I have a lot of choice in that matter.

(Though the Bishop has been generally forgiving so far, with the notable properties of annoying heavies with high ROF and annoying PzICs by not being easily killable.)

T21 opportunism. Plus all the people who got 7201s bring them out to go beat each other over the head with them.
