[1] [2] Additionally, we have been noticing that fansubs seem engaged in a race to the bottom. This is a race we intend to win. As the evolution of fansubs has resulted in the elimination of the TLC, editor, karaoke maker, and QC positions, there haven't been many opportunities for quality subs to differentiate themselves from the garbled mess of Engrish known as fansub scripts. But, like Funi and Tokpop, we see this as an opportunity to capitalize on the tastes of our viewers and improve their experiences while simultaneously improving the position of our group. With the addition of an AMV maker, our market share will increase by 10% show over show for at least two seasons. (I have graphs showing this, but I'm afraid the rules of this thread won't allow me to post them.) This will help justify the time spent by the staff on the shows as well as the server I'm paying $200 a month to access so that I can be considered a real fansubber, even though I never actually use it. Group: Domo Factor Project(s):Japanese Motorsports DVD's E-Mail: terrell@domofactor.com hey guys! i'm new to the whole subbing game, but i wanted to try and start subbing something different. while i am an anime nut, i also love cars. i've been watching japanese motorsport dvd's for a while now like video option, hot version, best motoring, and drift tengoku. one thing has always bothered me though, and that is that there's no subs for these. so this is where i decided to take up the position! i'm looking to start a small fan-sub group for these videos that come out once a month. all i really need is a Translator, and an interest motorsports or cars is a plus! i wouldn't mind having a few other people as well to help guide me along on the subbing process, or just general knowledge. lemme know, and thanks alot!^_^ terrell domofactor.com |

Translators - Strong command of the japanese language. Decent grammar, and must be able to finish translating in a reasonable timeframe. Basic Aegisub knowledge is a plus.
